Used to love going to the Putt Putt near my house. Great memories as a kid in the 70s and 80s.

The verse that always stuck in my head was the 'plop' sound of the putt going in the water syncing with the lyrics made it sound so cool 😂

Remember back in the day.. there was a professional Putt-Putt tour. Guys traveling around the Putt-Putt circuit competing like the PGA. It used to be televised on the weekends from time to time. Good times.

I remember the jingle from the radio, but never knew there was a TV commercial.(Syracuse had one on Erie Blvd. East, but I think it’s gone now.)

I’m from Syracuse. I do remember seeing the ad on TV here as a kid. The Erie Blvd course was behind the McDonalds between Bridge St and Thompson Rd. You really had to be looking for the place to find it and I’m kind of surprised it lasted into the early 2010s before it was abandoned and subsequently burned down.

Ah yes, this jingle. In fourth grade, my friends and I would substitute "putt" for a somewhat similar-sounding four-letter word.

I wonder how many locations they had. I remember the one on Vets just east of Transcontinental next to the Burger King (all long gone now.)

I remember a "Goofy Golf" we use to go to. Can't remember where it was though.... i was maybe 6 or 7, so it would have been 1972 or 1973.
