I would replace nothing oil and fuel pumps.In addition, that welded shift has git to be replaced. This is all assuming they are available from Yamaha.

I know the feeling i take photos of everything i removed from project 92 i missed one for the cdi pointer and i believe it is in the wrong position .

Been waiting for this episode. Nice job. Since you have cleaned the heck out of this engine during the rebuild I would have cleaned all the gunk off that oil tank just for looks and I would have used Scotch Bright on the lower unit drive shaft. But thats just me. You have dont way more then I could have. One question though, arent you supposed to put grease on the splines of the drive shaft before installing it back into the engine? Greetings from Long Island.
