Puzzles & Survival: Update! Apex Nanoweapons!

The second video today on the new PnS update! This one covering NanoWeapons! As soon as the update went live it seemed so many people started asking questions so I went to work to find out as much as I could about these new hero specific weapons. A longer video as this was a big update with lots of new events and features, I wanted to cover as much as possible. I did forget to mention the Global Nanoweapon event which is fairly self explanatory. Not sure they have got the balance right for this yet, it feels very overpowered allowing the rich to get stronger which will make Hero based events even harder for those lower in might and those who don't want to spend the money (pretty sure Andrew6666 just dropped a boat load of cash on the game to get where they have in the Nanoweapon event - maybe they are a developer!) But holy sh*t...they have created one hell of a revenue stream for themselves if the absolute feverish purchasing going on in my Alliance is going on everywhere else is anything to go by then 37games have probably just released something that will allow them to buy their own Island somewhere nice! I woke up today to near on 100 Alliance boxes to open... Great info by the way, was pretty much what we had come up with though there are still quite a few gray areas that will make sense further down the road.

Are the hero specific boosts passive? I got a special weapon for Eve that gives +60% rally troop HP but I don't use Eve for rallies

So I covered this in my latest video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJ_bnYyMi82lmq8 But the short answer is that the specific boosts such as eves weapon are activated as soon as you equip the weapon on to that hero. So yes even if Eve is not in your lineup the rally boosts will still apply! Congrats on a cool new nanoweapon!

I got a level 7 star plasma scanner from the 50 craft chest- when I crafted it it never appeared

By chance do you know how Eve's weapon works? She she need to be in a rally for the effect or just having it equipped enough?

Is it something that boost everyone as long as you were the leader of a rally, or is it something that boosts everyone as long as you were in the rally and have it equipped? Or is it something that only affects the person that actually has the weapon? Is it PVP only or lairs as well? Great videos by the way. Really appreciate your content.

It only affects your march not everyone's unless you start a super rally.

i need to watch this video again, but are you supposed to get your nanoweapon of choice after making 50 of them? I wanted Obsidians glove of smack you azz but got Phoenix flame thrower. Should i have waited for the glove to be on screen before hitting the flashy nano button? man i'm gonna feel like an idiot if i screwed that up. i get that the level of weapon is sitll random. i'm trying to look for tricks making nanos but not finding any. thanks.

The surprise box you get after 50 crafts is always random. There isnt a "trick" for getting the one you want. Unfortunately. The only way to get the one you want is buying it in the mall or the auction house. The nanoweapon surprise boxes you get from events that you open in your bag will always drop desert magnums. There is a rumor that when you buy the boxes from "scrap" that you will be able to choose which blueprint you get. I have not confirmed this yet.

@@ValenceRing 10-4 i don't feel so bad. i was so looking forward to getting that glove that I was really bummed. so the reward is that you get an exclusive for sure. ok. i shouldnt complain. my 47th nano was an epic zephyr hammer. i think when i get him and level him up at some point my strongest march will go from riders to fighters. thanks

@@ValenceRing if we got a certain blueprint, will it craft what our blueprint is? Like for example, if the blueprint is written is epic do we get the epic craft or common/uncommon/rare?

If you get a rare blueprint then the weapon is guaranteed to be rare or better. An epic will be epic or better and a common (or just a blueprint) will be common or better. Any blueprint has the chance to craft apex. The rarity of the blueprint just guarantees you a weapon of the same rarity or better.

OK Val.. so you had like 4 nanos when you made this video. So after making 125 or so, i could use some advice on how to manage them. so i have 1 epic, 8 rare, 5 uncommon and 3 common nanos. All on heroes. 10 are exclusive, including the 3 common and 4 of the 5 uncommon. Should i dismantle the common and uncommon weapons to boost the others? Maybe i should keep the uncommon exclusives? Seems like i could be sharing nanos among heroes as needed in UC.

So for uc yes equip your best ones (regardless of exclusitivity) to your 5 heroes battling. Otherwise always keep a nanoweapon on every hero possible exclusives on their respective heroes. A common nanoweapon and an apex nanoweapon level up the exact same way for the same base troop boosts. The additional stats are based on rarity so always replace with a better rarity when possible. I would not dismantle an exclusive weapon (even common) unless you have a better version to equip. I have rare radars i could equip to say ironclaw who still has a common exclusive but then i lost the exclusive stats. Since i dont use him in battle much i dont need the extra boosts to him specifically and a level +10 common has the same passive troop boosts as a +10 apex. (Not counting exclusive boosts)

So there are 11 exclusive weapons thus far plus the terrestrial radar. But there are 22 5 star heroes (to date) so I am assuming that they will be releasing new weapons later on. I had said originally there was one for each 5 star hero but what I should have said is I believe there will be... eventually. Sorry for that. How much promotion material is required to get a nano weapon to 2 red stars?

From 4* (base level) to red star is 2500 weapon promoters and 100 weapon promoter II. I Dont know the cost of 6 to 7 star yet because I dont have anything promoted there yet. But it usually goes close to double. So If i had to guess i would say an additional 200 weapon promoter II and at least 3k-4k weapon promoters.

@@garretthensley9655 ya I wouldnt promote anything lower than epic. Even then I'd be careful. The promotion material is hard to get/expensive. So I wont 7 star anything but apex. But that's my personal preference.

They can be crafted randomly in the gear factory nano weapon section. You also have better odds of crafting higher rarity items from rare exclusive craft designs. Good luck!
