Genius. We've lost so many cherries in the past because our tree has gotten just SO big ( and of course, they mostly grow in the higher branches ). Going to try this tomorrow. Thanks so much

I really like your channel! I watch all of them. lol It definitely has a target audience with the woodworking aspect, but I believe that the do-it-yourself videos with household objects like this one that is less specific than using a lathe 😉 will bring even more viewers. In parts of the video you talk a little fast sometimes (especially right in the beginning). When you were drilling the holes and inserting the zip ties, maybe more close ups, especially since no measurements were given, just so the viewer can get an idea of what it looks like. I like when you said something off camera for your wife! She obviously knows you well! 😆 Speaking from a teacher's point of view, we have to remember that everything we are picturing in our minds and that we already know, our audience might not know. That being said, I think your videos are great!

For those who don't have a well stocked tool shed (No drill) A cheap soldiering iron or a nail you heat on a fire/stove can be used to put holes in PVC

Next time you get a dwarf fruit tree, be sure to prune it yearly.
@nevaeha40483 жыл бұрын
Maybe he wants it larger. Dwarf doesn’t equal ‘small.’ Yes it means *smaller* than the original thing but that thing can be huge so the dwarf will still be large. Yes you should prune them but they only ‘need’ it to remove unhealthy/diseased branches. The bigger the tree the more the fruit!

I liked the scene were you cut the fruit; it was a great idea to put the camera there. However when you were constructing and attaching the wire to the PVC it was very hard to see since the green leaves in the background made difficult to see what you were doing.
