Nice taco , that voodoo blue just pops ! You present some very good information. I’m looking at a 2021 Tacoma TRD Off Road / maybe the Pro but haven’t yet decided, just doing research and gathering information at this point , but I’m leaning towards the off road and use that extra money to outfit it with things (like better tires as you have and brush guard / winch etc..) also not sure about manual or automatic , I’ve heard pros and cons about both . Any information is helpful thanks 🙏
@pvclassic3 жыл бұрын
If you ever plan on running larger tires then go with the Offroad not Pro. You'll be changing suspension components out anyhow so why pay for them in a Pro to only replace them with an after market kit. You get just about everything a Pro has with a TRD Offroad, locker etc but not the extra $$$$.

Lower tire pressure all means a greater contact patch with the tread to the road. Therefore more tire is touching and wearing on the hwy but gripping better off road. Like you said it fits your driving habits.

Tire pressure is something manufacturers just don't want to discuss. But it's a game changer for off-road and snow/ice conditions.

@@pvclassic appreciate the opinion. I live in the Pacific Northwest where we get rain year around and maybe a month of snow so I'll definitely take that into consideration. Your Tacoma is probably suppose to have 29 psi in them. Maybe a touch higher if you are increasing your load rating on your tire.
