MAX Damage Build in red dead online for PVP and PVE

Maximum damage build in red dead online - is it good for PVP and PVE? We will test max damage builds in rdr2 online for different weapons and see if they are good. In each case we will use Focus Fire ability card + Winning streak, Peak Condition or other damage ability cards.

I tried tank and maximum damage builds. And usually in PvP I‘m using max. damage because I don‘t care to be killed.... But in PvP Sessions I‘m always quite in front with maximum damage. Against a Griefer in Free Roam I‘d rather prefer tank builds...

What i learned from this video is that no one knows what cards to use now in pvp since people use lvl 2 tonics in pvp.

All the tryhards use L3 tonics. I rarely play PvP anymore because if you aren’t prepared to spend at least $50 per match on tonics you likely won’t win, regardless of skill level. You might get 20 kills with L2s but tryhards will get 30+.

I got to say, I use paint it black with horseman, winning streak, and either gunslinger's choice or Landon's patience and I deal a huge amount of damage. I often get in situations where I get teamed up on and I'm alone, so horseman has been really useful

I've used tank builds since beta. I think if you have any decent aiming ability it's the best way to go. But as fun as playing as a bunny rabbit is, I like to experiment.

I’d recommend Close game paired with sharpshooter, sharpshooter would cancel out the long range dmg nerf from close game and adds a defensive benefit for a shotgun/sniper or scoped carbine class. Maybe add gunslingers choice if you’re maining the sawed offs.

To be honest always depends of the situation, I love kill griefers and I usually go with focus fire, peak condition, wining streak, and sharp shotter, the most of the players dont use the tank build, so I can oneshot almost all player sometime took 2 shots. The slow and steady its really situational because they can kills you with explosive or incendiary round and you will be death. I prefer to use the full damage buid how I said before.and if you are fighting 1 vs 5 or something like that the full damege build to shotguns with slippery bastard works well.

As a come and go kind of rdo player I find ability cards something like rocket science. I have no idea what to use to maximize my play style. I've reached the conclusion that I have to play A LOT MORE to begin to grasp all the pros and cons of ability cards. Whats your play style? I typically use bolt action or Lancaster in distance. close range I have dual navy's. I like being a glass cannon in groups but most of the time I'm playing alone so I go for defensive builds. It all really depends on what you are doing as to what would be the most effective. Im always switching cards and it can be a pain. They need to give us a card set update to quickly change between sets.

1:34 i remember that being my load out, but with me being a pve player theres literally no point of damage cards besides focus fire because half the AI seem to never be a 1 hit kill with the carcano. i know what people are going to say 'if you headshot them then you can get a 1 hit kill'. i know that if i wanted to get 1 hit kill headshots I WOULD JUST USE 2 CATTLEMAN REVOLVERS AND SPAM IT WITH GUN SLINGERS CHOICE! what i wanted was a sniper that could 1 hit anything like in real life but i guess the snipers in red dead are basically just low caliber marksmen rifles of the real world with how much damage they dish out. seriously 2 hits from a sniper? you bet if a sniper shoots me in real life in the stomach or chest im out cold. so i just use a mix of cards in whatever mood im in. hopefully rockstar adds the buffalo rifle that can replace snipers but i doubt it. rockstar wont make guns realistic in damage BECAUSE TO THEM ITS TOO OVERPOWERED but on the other hand an explosive tip arrow that can destroy anything is fine and balanced. rockstar my testicles are more balanced than the weapons and one hangs lower than the other.

I rarely do pvp matches anymore, but in free roam i like to use fire on tank builds and get close enough to melee. Arrows or incendiary work. Guess now that my city finally has internet back up i kinda want to play. Fuck hurricanes...🙃

using sns in the open without cover during sniping results in dyeing most of the time bc u almost standing still and not moving at all. also on close distances people choose to use winning streak with mausers melting ur health down in 2 seconds. they nerfed sns to much. u can kill users with pistols and shotguns and winning streak easily and while sniping without cover u are easy target. its only good to surprise enemies and kill em 2 or 3 times but then even mediocre players will have adapted to your strategy.

The only issue with this is you could do all this investments in on getting body shot including spending all this money and card slots Use high damage weaponry that are only good at a certain distance or just invest in getting headshots only spending slightly less in ammo, taking up no card slots, being able to use mostly every weapon except shotguns

Max defense is definitely the way to go in red dead right now. Damage cards are not strong enough to compete properly against defense cards, not to mention that defensive cards synergize better with tonics. The best way to play the game is max defense with a headshot strategy

Since there is no auto aim or lock on PC I use focus fire or slippery bastard. PIB is good but you'll notice it's just a training tool on mouse and keyboard. Once you figure out that the X is just when you should've shot the gun...you will get used to shooting instead of marking and you'll be just as fast! Also change the reticle to just the little dot on PC...it's hard at first but you'll stop getting neck shots and crap...the bullet will go exactly where you aimed.

Question can you be lassoed if you are equipped with hangman ability card? The free roam event called protect legendary animals are full of grieffers trying to lasso you when you are looting the NPCs.. it’s not funny and it’s annoying getting lassoed when you are trying to play correctly the game.. rockstar should create a better passive mode very effective against tryhards..

@@PVPCat if i may ask (ps: love ur vids keep on the good work ^^), i was mainly a pve player in red dead loving 5 star legendary bouties and such.. but recently am trying showdown and am having many questions and interogation in pvp shodowns. -Does taking damage affect ur accuracy? -Some weapon seems to have stagger effect when i take damage while am aiming stoping me from flicking up to get the headshot -Does distance affect headshot (90% of time from max range with pib clean headshot registered as body shot, even if opponent dont have protective loadout) Overall am complete trash in all showdowns but elimination series lol trying to improve my pvp skills but it seems am always at disavantage no matter what tactics i use. I mainly always go for headshot wich in freeroam event i never miss but once i jump into showdowns am getting destroyed 75%-90% of my clean headshot are denied... Player tanking over 3 shot from point blank shotgun and so on.. thnks Maybe a vid suggestion on showdown dynamic and strategies anyhow reply or not love ur vids keep it up 👍 Good work ✌

Max Damage Build = ness breeds card cause this card give you most possible damage at all:) and yea you need take damage, but you take damage all time in a autoaim shooter. Perfect for counter combined with tank cards or counter snipe.

Slippery Bastard+Sharpshooter+peak condition is deadly asf. Any person using Lvl 1s or lvl 2s is getting 2 shotted

PIB is basically always better than SS in PvP. Move much faster and land all your shots. Only real vulnerability is when facing skilled snipers. Tank cards are generally more effective than damage cards otherwise. PIB+NWO+FMO/IL+dmg card of your choice depending on map/range (PC/SS/WS/GC) is best all around PvP build if you are not strictly sniping.
