What moon and barometer conditions would you consider bad and why?

Full moon can be an issue as the fish can target prey at night. Not sure on the whole fishing efficiency cycle theory but a falling pressure means the fish can move more easily at the same depth. Bottom line best time to go is whenever you can

I've heard the full moon thing too on targeting prey at night. And I've heard guides say full moon is great for salmon. I've had great fishing on full moons and also blamed the full moon for bad fishing so I agree with you go when you can go. I think we're headed there early next week... Almost full moon.

@@Pianosa77You should have some excellent fishing. I would suggest watching for where the Grebes are working. That’s a good indication of bait in an area and if the seagulls are working the same area, jackpot! This time of year structure near deep water is a good bet. The Lahontans are coming up from 70 feet and deeper to feed in the warm water where the bait is so they won’t be as numerous along the flats. Best of luck and tight lines.
