In 2010 I filmed yet another exceptional rare animal behavior sequence. This time, a large Burmese Python attacks, kills and eats an American Alligator in the Everglades. There is still so little known of how the pythons will adapt to the environment of Florida. So it came more or less as a total shock that this constrictors even prey on Florida's top predator, the American Alligator. The entire feeding sequence lasted for over three hours in its original. Also please note that the alligator is still alive while being swallowed by the python.... This video went also viral on KZbin with almost 40 million views. Furthermore, Animal Planet, National Geographic, Discovery Channel and many other TV networks have used my wildlife footage in countless tv shows around the world. Very interesting video, they have found cases in the Florida Everglades where the gator had clawed through the snakes body with their hind legs, however I believe in each incident both snake and gator were deceased, the gator from suffocation (head stuck inside) and the snake from the severe traumatic injuries. Invasive non-native species in the US. This doesn't always end well for the snake. There is documentation of gators clawing their way out or the snake bursting. Both animals died of course.

there has been zero cases of them being torn from inside. the gator is dead from cardiac arrest and having all its bones crushed within the battle and the first half of being ingested.. what you are confusing is another animal coming along and ripping the vulnerable snake open which is rare but does occur... sorry but no animal is alive once fully consumed its dead and all its bones busted
