@cwilliam444 жыл бұрын
MrWhiteones Your answer is right in your own question. Figure out how to manage that food addiction. And get exercise. No exceptions. I share food addiction.....BUT when I exercise and workout I am not nearly as tempted to eat poorly and everything gets balanced out enough to stay on track...trust me focus on the exercise. Force yourself to get in the movement and I promise you the food issues will sort themselves out. A healthier body will always yield a healthier mind in my opinion. Good luck. I also have a background in exercise physiology and nutrition and I would be more than willing to discuss further and help you out for free. There are OTR truckers who have their own KZbin channels and make sure to get in exercise whenever they stop. Depending on your interior space maybe there’s enough room for some things? Start with Stans 10 minute walks after you eat. It’s unbelievable how impactful and easy they are. Don’t rely on motivation my friend. Discipline over motivation.

Go keto asap!! And start doing 3 10 minute walks per day. 100 situps 100 pushups 100 squats per day should be your goal. Start today by doing 1 5 minute walk, 1 sit up, 1 pushup, and 1 squat. Increase by 1 each day on all 3. Keto on the road is possible. Bunless burgers, eggs bacon, salami, cheese.

I then got a contract as a truck driver driving nationwide in November and have been working over the road ever since. I’m on the road 25 days a month and at home 5 days since Thanksgiving. Starting out on to the road after the thanksgiving holiday I had gone from 278 to 290. Currently now I have ballooned to 325. My workouts and meal preps have been nonexistent and I’m ready to get back on track and stop yo-yo ing. This is the most I’ve ever weighed and my goal is 200lbs. I’m not a power lifter or bodybuilder. Just want to be lean and healthy

With the quarantine and some of us having issues with high blood sugar, I have a question gentlemen. Without access to a gym and relying solely on my 10 minute walks, do you recommend removing the sweet potato from the diet since I can't train? I am doing the vertical fast cut from the 2.0 diet where the only carbs aside from the veggies I get is one small sweet potato and one orange. If I remove the sweet potato and keep the orange it will take me under 30 grams a day of sugar so maybe without the ability to train it might be a good idea? Any response is appreciated.
@Huanglin12344 жыл бұрын
I don't think so. Keep it that way and if you're getting fat then manipulate the diet a little bit, might be better that way
@26JonnyD4 жыл бұрын
The potatoes and orange are really for the micro nutrient profile. What's the point of following a diet you don't understand. Train at home like everyone else. You don't need equipment to make it happen. Just a little discipline and consistency.
@demonized32994 жыл бұрын
@@26JonnyD I'm not following a diet I don't understand. I have both the 2.0 and the 3.0 version of the diet. I'm thinking you kind of don't understand the diet because the main reason for the orange is to stimulate metabolism by having small amounts of fructose go directly to the liver and so it bring up body metabolism and temperature. I don't do cranberry juice and replace that with iodized salt for my thyroid because, again, I have blood sugar issues my body is struggling with after being an over 350 lb strongman for 10+ years. The potato is for my potassium needs and all I was asking them was their thoughts on if my body could be alright with a little less potassium from a source like a cup of sweet potato given the fact that I do not have access to weights in this time. I appreciate your reply but you are being a little condescending to someone you don't even know in terms of talking about my discipline and my consistency and my knowledge of a diet. I cut 53 pounds in almost 4 months on this diet eating the exact same thing every single day, I do not lack discipline but my body is for some reason getting healthier in every way other than my blood sugar so I asked them a question seeing they told us to ask questions.
@Huanglin12344 жыл бұрын
@@demonized3299 I mean it sounds like you understand the diet. In that case it's better to just trust your own thinking
@demonized32994 жыл бұрын
@@Huanglin1234 I do brother. I am just asking them because when Stan has talked about doing keto in the past he always said it made him feel weak and lose muscle but since I dont have access to heavy poundages for now to train how I usually train I was thinking maybe it would be a good time to manipulate the diet a little bit keto to help the blood sugar, you know? I'll just fight through, what I decided to do is when the gyms open back up, I will contact him directly and invest some money with him to look over my blood work and do a personal diet for me since he offers it on his website. Thanks for the feedback!
