You seriously have no idea how much reading this comment means to me. I always struggle with whether or not I wanna continue doing KZbin now that I have two kids at home and very limited time, but reading comments like this push me to want to continue making videos. I love creating content but I love connecting with you all even more:-) thank you for your support and your kindness

I'm so glad you're more body positive this time around. It's a much better message to send to your viewers and even your kids as they grow up and are influenced by how you view your own body. That will help how they view theirs :)

Thank you so much :-) definitely feeling a lot more body positive this time around for sure. The first time around was a struggle. Everything about postpartum the first time around was a serious struggle for me. I feel so much happier mentally physically and emotionally this time around. It is so important for moms to have body positivity after birth :)

I'm totally with you on teaching. I thought it was my dream career, but unfortunately by the time I did my student teaching, the educational landscape changed so much.

SO MUCH!! It’s actually kind of scary how different it is now for even just five years ago let alone 12 years ago when I started. Something has to change because they are losing great educators left and right. Nobody can take it anymore and I can’t blame them. We are absolute dumping grounds at this point for everything. I’m so sorry that you were going through a struggle as well but I really pray that it gets better. I miss teaching. What it is now is not teaching anymore

I’m not a teacher but an educational assistant (EA) I think you call them para in USA. It’s tough and we’re currently online. It’s so hard knowing my student can’t do online as she’s physically and mentally unable to. It’s hard for her family as well with her needs. Also YES What you said all of that. I’m so excited for the video and congrats on completing your family and my cat in my photo is named Ellie too.

Honestly this, makes me so sad to read. This pandemic has been so hard on the students and equally as hard for the educators. Pandemic aside teaching in general has just been so tough lately. And I hope that they make a change. Sooner than later. Thank you so much for watching and for commenting. And how cute your cat is :-)

I am so happy for you! Thank you for being such a great role model and human being. I love that you love your body because loving my body has always been hard. Love seeing other people make steps in the right direction and telling negativity to just go away. It definitely helps me to do the same. I'm a teacher too and 100% understand everything in the realm of teaching during a pandemic. We got this y'all!

Hey I'm really really sorry about the teaching problems. I don't know how bad it is in my district but I'm also not a teacher (Im a student). But from my side of things I can tell it has gotten worse. I remember going to school and looking forward to doing crafts and playing games that help you learn. Now its just her is the info, memorize, move on. And it is super frustrating to have everything be merit based. Sometimes my best isn't great according to the standards which makes me feel guilty. Im very sorry that it has lost the creativity. Kudos to you for sticking with it! Your students will really remember and thank you for all the hard work and care you give them. Love you!!

Oh my goodness you nailed it. Especially when you talked about standards. Breaks my heart that so many kids are being judged off of standards. As a special educator and one of the main things that we learned in college is that all students learn different ways and excel in different ways. Some kids are great testtakers were as others are great paper writers were as others are great hands on. Forcing students to take a test that is so black-and-white it’s just heartbreaking, and there’s more and more of them every single year. It’s a disaster. I’m so sorry as a student you are seeing the repercussions as well. I can only hope that it gets better and it gets better fast

@@themissalliecakes I completely agree. I also had a rough time with breastfeeding. I want to try again, but never again exclusively. And if it doesn't work this time, I don't think I'll try at all a third time. And it's for exactly that reason: if I'm anxious about feeding, I'm not the best momma I can be. I'm choosing combo feeding just as much for my one year old's sake as I am for my soon to be born daughter's sake. And me and my husband too. 💕

I am so sorry to hear that you had such a tough breast-feeding experience. I don’t wish anxiety and depression that comes along with that on my worst enemy. I’m glad that now in 2022 people are becoming more excepting of bottlefeeding and less pressure that breast is best. I feel like people are pretty excepting now of honoring the families choice and how they choose to feed their child. Thank you for sharing your experience. You are definitely not alone. Hi Ali. I had three children and my tummy look just like yours after giving birth to my children. It will turn back to normal. I had that dark belly button and that line from the belly button going down as well. It is normal. I have always worked out and my stomach always went back into shape. Just stretch marks could be faded out with Palmer's Cocoa butter cream. You look great.

Thank you again for sharing your experience again for watching :-)

thank you for being so honest about your experience with breastfeeding. i tried to breastfeed my first but he never latched, and exclusively pumping absolutely TANKED my mental health. i was struggling hard. i am pregnant with #2 right now, choosing to formula feed from the get-go, and I am already receiving so many "but breast is better!" comments. it's exhausting. i am happy you're here

seriously ew to anybody who is trying to make you feel less then for feeding your child the way that works best for you and your family. You do not need that kind of negativity in your life. In case nobody told you today, let me be the one to say that you were doing a great job mama. ♥️ to be honest with you people could tell me that I am the worst mom in the world for feeding my child formula versus breast and it Wouldn’t even phase me because I’m so happy with my decision mentally physically and emotionally. Breast is beautiful but not best. Fed is best. If you were feeding your child you go girl

I’ll pray you had a speedy recovery. I’m so grateful that so many people in today’s day and age are really in tune to making sure MOMMIE‘s mental physical and emotional health are OK after the baby. Thank you so so much. How exciting. Congratulations. Your baby is going to be here before you know it. Welcome to the best chapter of your life. Give yourself a lot of grace the first couple of months… my best advice to you that I wish I took my first time around is to try to dedicate at least 10 minutes a day to doing something that you like. I’ve been doing that this time around and I’ve noticed a huge shift in my mental and emotional state. Even if it is just going outside for a walk for 10 minutes on your own. So happy for you and this beautiful news
