I'm an introvert and the hardest part for me to overcome is the nervousness and anxiety I get in situations where I feel awkward or unintelligible in. Of course I also struggle in public settings/speaking like the general introvert, but with time anyone I believe can get used to those things. I also have an odd thought process which causes me to go from one subject to another and causes me to stutter, to overcome this I have to try and write down my thoughts and organize them before I can explain them, and sometimes mid thought I forget what I am even trying to communicate or what the purpose of my message was... I actually forgot why I was typing this right now... I think I just wanted to thank you for your videos and advice/motivation, and agree with you in that introverts no matter how severe can overcome their fears and shortcomings in one way or another. It will take great effort and it doesn't seem fair that we were born like this but just remember everyone has problems/weaknesses and God's power shines brightest in our weaknesses

What you describe is what I also suffer with. It's sometimes very difficult for me to articulate verbally and if you watch my video's closely, you'll recognize that. I'm MUCH better with the written word because like you said, I have time to get my thoughts straight first. However, that doesn't stop me from anything. So keep going!

I have considered myself an introvert my whole life. However, I wouldn't say that introverts are shy like you said. I believe we more concentrated on our own mental process than on interacting with every single person in a group.Introverts don't get excited around people as much as extroverts do and are not interested in small talk. We're not timid, we just don't care.

Hello Andrii. I agree with most of what you said. Introverts are generally more shy than extroverts. I don't agree with the statement that we "don't care". It's more that we prefer to not engage as much as other ppl. Thanks for the comments.

Totally agree and also once you excell in your profession you gain confidence and lose timidity.

It is a beautiful thing that introverts like yourself can break through and progress in the social world with the help of technology. Thank you for leading the way man!

I am still an introvert till today. I enjoy staying alone very much practicing my hobbies rather than going out. However, as I grew older, I become gradually more confident, but still unable to handle difficult or rude people, while some friends I know, they can almost handle any kind of people, any kind of situations.

I really like your response on who post that question, I myself was concern that I wouldn't fit in this field and be sociable or well enough educated, but I feel comfortable in what I know. Thank you for your input and I will be watching because I want to learn.

My bf and I are both major introverts but both our jobs require being around people. He is a lawyer and I'm an admin/ sales. We network once or twice a week outside of work to build people skills. I think we will always be introverts but it helps break the boundaries by building those skills. Being around people is a skill not a handicap. Just like u are always learning about IT, u are always learning about working with people

Note that network and going out in the work week is def a challenge since like others, we rather stay at home or not be around people. It does help. It can be scary because u will run into other introverts who are shy and awkward conversations. However use that to your advantage to start conversations :)

Exactly Alex. You can't change from introvert to extrovert and vice versa. It's part of who we are. We just have to be the best version of ourselves and continue to improve. Thanks so much for watching!

Another thing I wanted to ask you was that does programming requires you to be good at math? How often do you use math when programming? Is programming a difficult thing? Is it geared towards people with a strong problem solving ability?
@learnitfromwilliam8 жыл бұрын
You don't need to be good at math for programming. And yes, it requires very strong abilities for problem solving and logic. You're basically piecing together parts to make them all work together; its mind bending if you don't have the patience for it.
