I love your humble, honest, no-BS, non-speculative approach to phsychedelichs. I sympathize with a lot of things you say, and also like Jung's ideas on collective unconscious archetypes. Love your videos, many thanks and take care Rob!

Best thing you can do with the knowledge gained on the other side is come back and represent Selflessism, one for all but never all for one. Do what is best for the vast majority otherwise life is even more pointless... minimize the needless suffering of existence.

"minimize the needless suffering of existence." - after many decades of keeping this in mind and doing that, it sort of leaves a print on you and when you're old, you won't be afraid of something something because deep down you know your heart

Great Q&A those questions are on point. Rob it 'll be very interesting to elaborate further on those healing properties that helped you out of depression..;i have a solid feeling that it could be the cure for many "light" mental diseases such as depression & addictions. Great video as always!

The conciouse mind in a simulation machine. It’s ability to do this is so complete that we do not notice it. The clues reside most obviously in what happens when the MUSCLE like effort of “Executive function” takes a break from that effort “REM sleep” and the simulating machine is no longer restricted by the overriding input of “self” and “senses“. We then dream. DMT must in some way remove the “sensory” component of consciousness. Confirmation can’t be seen in the sensory studies done in the 50s, where restricting sensory input almost universally produced experiences akin to wakeful dreaming.

A very interesting, humble and overall very humane talk - thank you for it! As a sidenote I have to say that the visuals in the video really reminded me of the DMT experience. Especially the first one gave me a strong sense of deja-vu.

Having progressed my way though various avenues of consiousness exploration, things really started to ramp up when I started on the DMT front. First came several sittings with 5 then dipped my toe in with changa and straight dmt followed by aya. I am astounded by what i have experienced with these substances. We are interdimensional beings and these avenues allow us to travel to not only other dimensions but also different aspects of ourselves. It just blows your mind! In my case it's in a good way. Life here has been taken to a whole new level of wowness 😲 The most unexpected side affect has been the healing side of things. My initial intention was curiosity for the truth but there is so much involved.

I really love how you don't commit to any one idea or narrative. I applaud your ability to speak about your flaws and your ego, especially at the end when you talk about the shaman calling you in and you start psyching yourself out with the inner dialogue about going to make your little video drinking ayahuasca in the jungle! So relatable for me, minus the KZbin channel and doing the videos in the jungle, because the inner dialogue you conveyed resonated with my own experiences. I really appreciate what you do and that you are humble and kind in your approach no matter the topic, so thank you. I find myself coaching others on their personal journeys as they explore the depths of psychedelics. I find my coaching allows for people to push past the part when all of their body's alarms start going off screaming that they are going to die and in the past they had always turned back. I go in with them and teach them the importance of breathing as it is the part people forget to do most often. Do you notice people tend to hold their breath as if bracing for an impact in your experiences as well?
@AdeptusPsychonautica
@AdeptusPsychonautica 8 ай бұрын
Yes, I have caught myself doing it quite a few times. Sometimes it seems to be almost like its that I simply forgot to breath, but on other occasions its been like you mentioned as a kind of "brace for impact", and that creates all kinds of weird tension which then gets reflected in the experience. Totally agree that breathing is tone of the simplest and most effective methods for modulating a psychedelic experience.

Thank-you Rob. Very much wanted to hear this Q&A, after listening to the talk the other day. You are an amazing resource for this thought provoking topic. Your productions are intelligent, honest, and freaking hilarious. What are some of your favourite resources for information on all things DMT?
@AdeptusPsychonautica
@AdeptusPsychonautica 8 ай бұрын
Honestly the best resource is DMT itself, and then just taking the time to really think about the experience and relate it to your life. "After The Ceremony Ends" is a good book on the topic of integration. Andrew Gallimore has written a couple of books on the mechanisms by which psychedelics work if you are interested in the science side of things. Personally I read and watch a lot of stories, because everything in our lives is some form of story.

@@AdeptusPsychonautica Hey Rob, just wanted to say thanks again for the reply, and let you know your recommendations didn't go in one ear and out the other. My partner works at a library, and when she couldn't source the book through inter-library loan programs, she ordered "After the Ceremony Ends" for me, and it came in the mail today. I'll definitely devour this book in a sitting two, then start chasing after Andrew Gallimore's writings. I am very much interested in the science behind it all. I've had a range of results this past summer with extractions, from utter disappointment to.Walter White level success. Do you have any recommendations for teachings or tek in that area over and above the Nexus?... -All the Best

Not wanting to understand it means a deeper connection to the singularity because fundamentally that's why we all come here to forget we are all encompassing and completely alone... just helps when you leave here to know and it makes stronger Souls that are harder to control... that's why I want everyone to know.

I take Kratom daily and I am fully dependent. On dmt I was shown what how it effects my life and it was amazing! It showed me as a character moving through life with a blurred circle filtering away experience as it entered through my body. So simple! Smoking cigarettes too, I was shown poisonous gas entering my body voluntarily!

@@AdeptusPsychonautica bit of both in truth, I personally can’t address my addiction Without accepting it first. So yeah I’ve accepted it. Kind of stops me bs myself. Lol! This mindset has bled into a lot of areas of my life subsequently, like things I enjoyed have fallen away- I can see where the indulgence stemmed from and can’t Do it anymore. Addiction burns away artifice!!! Anyway, I appreciate your angle on psychedelics and it’s a welcome counter to all the crystal rubbing nonsense out there. 🙏🏼

Currently the dmt experience is challenging for me because I struggle to let go, and I'm also straining (hard) to analyze the experience while I'm there. So.. I'm learning, from dmt, how to let go and not analyze everything. As I get better at this, the experience changes and it seems there will be more lessons in the future. And ya, it burns away the want to drink, eat junk food, waste my time on bs media, etc. How? Lord knows, but the effects are absolutely bonkers, that's for sure.

Also, it's helped me, I think, to slow down when I run (literally). I run farther now and am more patient during exercise. To be clear, I'm more patient as I press into discomfort. If that isn't a gift, I don't know what is.
@AdeptusPsychonautica
@AdeptusPsychonautica 8 ай бұрын
@adempc I had a similar realization around slowing down. I used to do really overload my days with things to do, and it was like that if I wasn't doing "something" then I wasn't comfortable, and I found it hard to relax and calm down. The first time I tried meditation I just could not stand the feeling of sitting still. After a few deep psychedelic experiences then I felt a very clear instruction to calm down and pace myself, and I think its has helped me immensely

I also experience the feeling described at 7:39 when using cannabis. Cannabis always makes me think in strange unconventional ways when I'm on it so that when I try it the next time I get a feeling of familiarity from the thought space I'm accessing, which I seem to forget when I'm sober. It's very interesting Edit: Actually, now that I think of it, I feel like cannabis was my first deliberate experience with a really different modality of thought. Since then my brain often tries to assess thought modalities in other people and groups, in a way that I'm way more consciously aware of. That said, I don't really enjoy the modality it brings me in most of the time, it's too intense

Marijuana doses vary from individual to individual and I am hypersensitive to the effects. After decades I have found my disease to be in the 1mg range but with psilocybin and other tryptamines my dosage is much higher than anyone I know in real life. 5 grams of mushrooms is usually my minimum dose but for everyday marijuana users they are highly intoxicated at an eighth or less. This may have to do with the multiplyer effect of marijuana and psilocybin or maybe we all have different allies and our body is telling us which substance to align ourselves with.

If your struggling in life it will show you what needs to be done. If you are ignoring what needs to be done it will slap the shit out of you. It’s like that for me on all substances.
@AdeptusPsychonautica

😮 Adeptus Psy' emphasizes that their experience in hyperspace is not to be trivialized, as they believe it to be a deeply meaningful and extraordinary experience. 🤔 Some people dismiss the value of DNT (presumably referring to a psychedelic substance) due to its rapid and variable nature, but for the speaker, it has been a lifechanging experience. 😮 The speaker believes that the experiences in hyperspace are more of an inward journey, a consciousness division, aligning with Jungian archetypal ideas. 💫 He also believes that having awe-inspiring experiences, such as those facilitated by psychedelics, is an intrinsic part of the human experience and considers it a birthright, comparing it to the idea of never having had an orgasm. 🧠 DMT can be a life-changing experience, challenging one's ego and leading to personal growth. 😱 The use of DMT helped resolve the speaker's crippling anxiety and fear of death, providing a transformative experience. 🌟 "The most meaningful thing I'd ever heard: It's okay, death is something that happens." 😮 Taking psychedelics can lead to a transformative experience that alleviates anxiety and sparks curiosity for further exploration.
