It's about that time again. I've finished a big ole KZbin series about basketball, so I asked you for some questions! I answered as many of them as I reasonably could, but apologies if I didn't get to yours.

Nice idea, although I don't think there's a legit argument for anybody except the 2016 Warriors. 73 wins is tough to argue with, especially when their Finals loss was in 7 games, with so much controversy (ie. Draymond suspension).

Whenever you get the emotional energy jar filled back up, a Making the Case for greatest coach would be fascinating. A lot of variety in the storytelling potential there. Between Red, Phil, Riley, Pop alone there's a lot there. If football, then greatest running back of all time.

The only two ‘What-Ifs’ that matter are Len Bias and Arvydas Sabonis coming to the league in/before his prime. Walton is close but we at least could imagine his ceiling with a degree of accuracy. We’ll never know what Bias and Sabonis could have done to the league.

I doubt this will ever be made but anothee what-if I want to see is if Allan Caidic, probably the one of the extremely few Filipino basketball players I could think of that has NBA potential, he can either be an excellent Kerr esque role player a proto Steph Curry if given the chance. Him and also Brazil's Oscar Schmidt, the greatest basketball player to never play in the NBA.
@egordon8

Definitely my number 1 what if is the 2016 Thunder finishing the Warriors off after being up 3-1. The number of things that change from that one happening is enormous and I think I prefer all of them to reality.

you should make a best individual season of all time. By that I mean for example my favorite is 2016: kobe's retirement tour, 73-9 warriors, 3-1 comeback on said warriors lol, dunk contest, and stuff like that. I know you could portray the narratives better than anyone else and I'd love to see it.

Honestly, I really don't see how anyone could win a 7 game series over the 2017 Warriors. It's not just their scoring, they had great defense too. It might be recensy bias, but considering that are knowledge/understanding of basketball and sports specifically keeps increasing, the most recent superteam has to be the "best" one right? And like already has been said, the the 2017 warriors is like taking the 96 Bulls and then adding karl malone or Hakeem to it. It's just too ridiculous: take a stacked team and a recent MVP in their prime who plays a position that wasn't filled by any of your most important talents.

23:10 I love your answer, but I think the answer is the Warriors. The Warriors dynasty doesn't exist if their coach is anyone but Steve Kerr. Their prior coach was the very traditional, very conservative, very league average Mark Jackson, and they weren't great, as you'd expect, because they didn't play like the Warriors dynasty. They played like any other team. They had Steph, Klay, and Draymond, and Jackson didn't do anything special with them. Kerr came to town and they immediately started winning titles. I love that your answer is on a completely different axis than mine, and I agree that those Lakers would absolutely have imploded without Phil Jackson (I mean, they eventually imploded WITH Phil Jackson), but maybe someone else could have soothed the egos enough to win some titles with probably the best duo of all time.

For your piece about how you got into basketball... honestly, same! I'm a very fresh basketball fan, I only got into it like 2 years ago when I was 15-16ish years old, but I've absolutely fallen in love with it. Watching the Last Dance documentary, the video of Kobe scoring 81, and LeBron's perpetual greatness made me absolutely obsessed with the sport even though I grew up as a play video games and ride my bike kid, not a soccer and basketball kid.

Please don’t feel pressured to put out videos consistently, don’t do it unless you enjoy it. There’s an excitement just in the waiting, nobody is gonna be angry that you haven’t posted in the last week, we’re all just happy when we do get a new high quality, densely packed video on a sport that we love. But this channel isn’t a news station, you aren’t under pressure to put things out every day no matter what, one video a year would be good as long as it is well made and enjoyable and you have fun making it.

It’s so funny to me that we got into basketball at the exact same time and had similar mindsets. I decided to check out basketball because my dad had bought me an old copy of 2k and I really got into it. I didn’t like LeBron because I was so tired of hearing everybody at school talk about him nonstop. So once the Heat and Pacers series ended I decided to root for the Spurs. I was blown away by that series of course. Kawhi became my favorite player and the Spurs were my team lol.
