I would add to this, that the translation from Tanakh (Jewish bible) is different, and makes more sense. Cuz it says that it is God who called him the Prince of Peace. 5For a child has been born to us, a son given to us, and the authority is upon his shoulder, and the wondrous adviser, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, called his name, "the prince of peace."

Belief in Jesus is as St Paul Apostle, impossible without faith. (Hebrews 11:1,6), and not just viewing Scripture as cold facts!!! Paul said lack of faith was the reason that the Israelites could not enter the promised land. Only their children were delivered into the promised land.

Question- You tie Isaiah 9:6 with Isaiah 7:14! And talk as if it is just a name!? (Which is common in multiple nations) But God himself will give a sign!!! Behold a VIRGIN will be with child. Signs like this happen rarely!!! (Once) that’s how rare Jesus is. And interesting is this is the only time God said “I” will give you a sign. We His children and followers should pay Most of our attention on Him. Food for thought!

Some people say it was Hezekiah. but read the Book of Judges regarding the Angel who appeared to Samson's parents: His name is Wonderful. Now go back to the Child's name in book of Isaiah: He will be called Wonderful; Mighty God; Everlasting Father. No one calls Hezekiah those names. Hezekiah cried and prayed to Yahweh when King Sennacherib is about to obliterate Jerusalem. because it is their last stand. that israel will become history like Sodom and Gomorrah. So Hezekiah is not that child they are talking about.

Im shocked in 2024 that people still dont know the difference between elohim and Elohim. Everyone anointed by Yhwh Are elohim. Only the Father ALONE is Elohim. "I have said YE are elohim and are ALL sons of the Most High". Psalm 82:6. Everyone regenerated by the Fathers Spirit are divine not Divine. We are all one with our Father by his spirit living in us. Its not a hard concept people to figure out. A small bit of critical thinking skills required not even a college education required.

Wat did God said concerning Jesus, and how he would save the world. What did Jesus himself said about his death? What happened to Jesus after he was killed? Where did Jesus Go after his death? Did all this things came to past. If After all Like if Jesus Died and never resurrected then we can say God has failed us, but then He aroused from the death to confirm the scriptures? Is that too a contradiction? Canal mindset never challenges Gods word Mallam Alhaji 😂😂😂😂

It will be too late for those waiting for additional proves about Jesus Christ, We have men of God in everywhere nowadays preaching the true God.

Fallah Bockarie And there is no God else beside Me; a just God and a Savior; there is none beside Me. Look to Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is none else.’ (Isaiah 45:21-22, Jonah 3:5-10) Biblically, people can receive forgiveness of sins through sincere repentance sought directly from God. This is true at all times and in all places. There has never been a need for the so-called inter cessionary role Jesus plays in attaining atonement. The facts speak for themselves. There is no truth to the Christian belief that Jesus died for our sins and salvation is only through Jesus. What about the salvation of people before Jesus? Jesus’ death brings neither atonement from sin, nor is it in any way a fulfillment of biblical prophecy. Christians claim that in the birth of Jesus, there occurred the miracle of the incarnation of God in the form of a human being. To say that God became truly a human being invites a number of questions. Let us ask the following about the man-God Jesus. What happened to his foreskin after his circumcision (Luke 2:21)? Did it ascend to heaven, or did it decompose as with any human piece of flesh? During his lifetime what happened to his hair, nails, and blood shed from wounds? Did the cells of his body die as in ordinary human beings? If his body did not function in a truly human way, he could not be truly human as well as truly God. Yet, if his body functioned exactly in a human way, this would nullify any claim to divinity. It would be impossible for any part of God, even if incarnate, to decompose in any way and still be considered God. The everlasting, one God, in whole or in part, does not die, disintegrate, or decompose: ‘For I the Lord do not change.’ (Malachi 3:6) Did Jesus’ flesh dwell in safety after his death? Unless Jesus’ body never underwent ‘decay’ during his lifetime he could not be God, but if it did not undergo ‘decay’ then he was not truly human. Bible says that God is not man ‘God is not a man’ (Numbers 23:19) ‘For I am God, and not man’ (Hosea 11:9) Jesus is called a man many times in the Bible ‘a man who has told you the truth’ (John 8:40) ‘Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know.’ (Acts 2:22) ‘He will judge the world in righteousness through a man whom He has appointed’ (Acts 17:31) ‘the man Christ Jesus’ (Tim. 2:5) The Bible says that God is not a son of man ‘God is not a man nor a son of man’ (Numbers 23:19) The Bible often calls Jesus ‘a son of man’ or ‘the son of man.’ ‘so will the son of man be’ (Matthew 12:40) ‘For the son of man is going to come’ (Matthew 16:27) ‘until they see the son of man coming in His kingdom.’ (Matthew 28) ‘But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority’ (Mark 2:10) ‘because he is the son of man’ (John 5:27) In the Hebrew scriptures, the ‘son of man’ is also used many times speaking of people (Job 25:6; Psalm 80:17; 144:3; Ezekiel 2:1; 2:3; 2:6-8; 3:1-3).Since God would not contradict Himself by first saying He is not the son of a man, then becoming a human being who was called ‘the son of man’, he would not have done so. Remember God is not the author of confusion. Also, human beings, including Jesus, are called ‘son of man’ specifically to distinguish them from God, who is not a ‘son of man’ according to the Bible. The Bible says that Jesus denied he is God Jesus spoke to a man who had called him ‘good,’ asking him, ‘Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.’ (Luke 18:19) And he said to him, ‘Why are you asking me about what is good? There is only One who is good; but if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments.’ (Matthew 19:17) Jesus did not teach people that he was God If Jesus had been telling people that he was God, he would have complimented the man. Instead, Jesus rebuked him, denying he was good, that is, Jesus denied he was God. The Bible says that God is greater than Jesus ‘My Father is greater than I’ (John 14:28) ‘My father is greater than all.’ (John 10:29) Jesus can not be God if God is greater than him. The Christian belief that the Father and son are equal is in direct contrast to the clear words from Jesus. Jesus never instructed his disciples to worship him ‘When you pray, say Our Father which art in heaven.’ (Luke 11:2) ‘In that day, you shall ask me nothing. Whatsoever you ask of the Father in my name.’ (John 16:23) ‘The hour cometh and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father seeketh such to worship him.’ (John 4:23)

In Psalm 89:36-38 God speaks of establishing the Dynasty of David eternally, only in a symbolic way, and not with a physical throne with a human king on it on earth. Jesus always maintained that his kingdom was not of this world, but very often asserted himself as the Son of David when in human form. An earthly throne of God is also spoken of in the book of Revelation given to St John Apostle by our glorified Jesus, no longer in human form. Again, the throne is only spoken of symbolically! And in the book of Daniel the Prophet, the angel Gabriel told Daniel that in the time of the end that Satan would be so bold as to seat himself on it, and that is exactly what our glorified Jesus is saying in Revelation that Satan has done!!! Some people around the world today are viewing Netanyahu as having filled the position of Satan on the throne of God there in Israel/Palestine!

Are you going to hold on to what Cupitt or whoever taught or debated or read the Text of Isaiah for yourself and see what the prophet wrote. No Jew would be thinking that the King is God. Jews are too advanced in their thinking to consider Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah or a man king as God. In Isaiah, the birth of Jesus was prophesied: Isaiah 7:14, Isaiah 9:6. His death (cut off) and resurrection were prophesied in Isaiah 53:9-12. In Isaiah 44:6, he is the first and the Last and beside him, THERE IS NO GOD. In Revelation 1:17-18 he says: I am he that lives and was DEAD, and behold, I am alive for evermore. and have the keys of Hell and of Death. The man, Christ was God in flesh. He laid aside his full glory became a man that could die on the cross for our sins. As God in spirit form, he could not die as you and I understand physical death. He the eternal word, was made flesh and dwelt among us. People could see and touch him but he was the holy son of God John 1:14. You cannot afford to dishonor him because you will be dishonoring God to your own peril. Read the Bible because God, this same Jesus whom you do not honor as God is the JUDGE. Read it in Matthew 7:23 and John 5:22. And just in case you want a real heads up on what will happen with the so called GENTLE JESUS meek and mild, read Revelation 6:14-17.

@@azirla719 oh wow, people have questions. Well, as Muslims already know, the word "trinity" isn't in the bible, so that's not an issue, and Jesus in the bible is said to have the Father within him. So I don't see an issue.. lets see what the bible has to say For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 A child is born.. a Human I see.. He's a Son? and the government will on his shoulders.. okay, so he's above the government, okay. He will be called wonderful counselor, okay, Mighty God? So a human is called "Mighty God"? and Everlasting Father? and Prince of Peace? So a human is going to be called "Mighty God"? and "Everlasting Father"? But no one is Everlasting but God... you know.. this sounds exactly how Christians describe Jesus Christ, huh? strange, isn't it? Lets see what Jesus says: Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.
