Just watch this on KZbin and I’ve been in archery for over 20 years. I’m 65 years old and this is one of the most important things that I think people can watch or listen to to become a better archer. Keep it up.

Levi….you’re a down to earth professional and that alone is huge. You are approachable. So many individuals that are on top of their sport are not. Hope to see you at Lancaster. Wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas.

Really enjoyed this! I was lucky enough to get to shoot a pro-am with you in Paris, it was way early in your career, but pretty sure we won. I think that tournament was between the first two wins you mentioned. Always great to learn from one of the best, little gold nuggets in every question answered.

Great Q&A. No matter what sport or just life in general the most successful people I know never feel like they have arrived. They are always working like they still have something to prove.

Please keep these break downs coming, so inspiring you letting us into your mental preparation, the feelings you have and the things you may struggle with in competition or hunting situations, I love the honesty on how hard the greats have to work to be great! It totally inspires me to work hard myself.

Glad your doing this....I been struggling with live animal target panic bad this year...rushing an snatching the bow to see where the arrow hits...it started this year when I shot at two does between 40 and 50 an they ducked my shots bad...ever since I've struggled...so I appreciate you doing this to give us some insight we aren't alone.

Thats the problem.. 40-50 yard archery shots. If you cant get closer get a rifle

@@Lovenlife139 so your saying if you are hunting a food plot an a deer or big Buck hangs up at 40 your not going to try him or learn how to shoot better at live animals at that distance
@Lovenlife139
@Lovenlife139 10 ай бұрын
@@joshbeasley9423 nope... totally different type of hunting. I live in West Texas where theres NO public land. All private owned. I hunt feeders out of a pop up blind at 20 yards. White tail during deer season and hogs during the off season. If i lived in the mid west and had to traverse all those miles I guess id have to learn how to shoot 50+ yards. Just not ethical those long archery shots. Bowhunting inherently makes you need to get as close as possible. Shit recovery rate in general is bowhuntings dirty lil secret..

@@Lovenlife139 I agree but I'm trying to be the best bowhunter I can an say a giant hangs up on me an don't come in I'm still good and confident way out there...I been struggling with target panic close an far the deer I had duck me those distances is what started it is what I was saying about the distance

This is awesome! I actually was sitting in the stand in Illinois last week when it was below normal temps and i really wanted to ask what your thoughts on cold affecting bow performance! And at what temps if any have you seen it affect the material enough to throw off your shot?

awesome !! question when i see you shoot animals i hear a click right before shot ? is that a draw check or something with the release? ps all i know is it works.
@kennylainhart7148
@kennylainhart7148 10 ай бұрын
It's a hinge release the click in the release while hitting anchor point!!!!

This is a challenge I would love to see someone with the guts to do. Take the 2023 flagship bow of the year and shoot it against the 2023 budget bow of the year honestly. Now that's where the trouble begins. At 50 yards score each bow on points. Hand shock and other things really don't factor in when shooting a animal. We as buyers could then take the value of each point to see where the price is a factor. But here again honesty is going to be the factor.

Why do you think it’s nuts to shoot with a quiver on your bow? Really curious cause I shoot with mine on the Phase4. I just think it’s easier so i don’t have to remember to remove it or have it fall out the tree. Thanks for what u do.

I have two questions that I NEED a to know. I am an older shooter. Grew up bow hunting and shot mostly indoor 300’s. I am now 62, have been out of work for many years and have not shot in almost 30 years. I am having to go with a very low poundage bow. Now, just punching paper, let’s say I am at 40 lbs pull weight. Can I get 400 spine arrow to shoot? I have 500’s also. Just need a starting point. I can and still will do my own testing but wanted someone w who knows the sport to help me decide. Now the other question. I always shot feathers indoors. I am wondering which weighs out more consistent, good quality vanes or feathers? My brain is talk g me vanes will be a tighter tolerance. What say you? Thanks so much of you can help me here. I don’t trust the average or even those who call themselves archery coaches. They don’t even know how a peep works. I don’t trust any of them. So if you can, I appreciate your help here. If I could talk to you that would even be better.

He did. The weight one the quiver side forces you to torque your grip to compensate to the opposite side.

I understand you need to tune to shoot with quiver on. I am more concerned about the movement taking on and off or possibly forgetting it on the ground moving to get a shot. Just doesn't seem like good advice...@@chrisjanes3822
