His advice for dad's during labour was my fav-"how do you mess that up? Just do whatever they need!" 😆💯

Shayla! It is so nice to hear someone else talk about the shock of motherhood and bonding with your baby even when you might think you are ready! Thank you! I’m grateful it improves over time but man thank you!

I absolutely love Seth's comments on all this. He's more to himself but hearing his viewpoint is so refreshing. My husband doesn't say much about my pregnancy and upcoming birth, but I'm hoping he just supports me in whatever I need that day.

My husband doesn't either. He just can't bond with a baby he can't see, and he is confident enough in me to tell him what I need during labor. It didn't stop him from being the most amazing father to our sons. :)

I smiled so much watching you both! I LOVE how you are so supportive of each other and Shay (I like how he calls you!) is always laughing and Seth's smile is so "Sweet" (not sure if you can call a guy's smile sweet..)!😍

Oh man I loved this one! Really fun to get to know both of you better and see you interact as a couple! Now you've gotten me so curious, have either of you ever taken the MBTI personality test, and what results did you get? I went deep into that last summer and got really familiar, so I have my guesses about you two, but would be curious to hear it from you. I definitely see a deep harmony and synchrony in the way that you operate together! It's both heartwarming and entertaining to watch. Thanks for sharing, Shayla!

LOL the recycling!!! I don't think there is an actual system for recycling in the US. Here in the Netherlands it's really organized and well done but I was surprised to learn that in the US it all ends up in the same place (last I checked) 🤷♀️🤔😂 it's nice to see you together with Seth in a video.

From my understanding we used to sell it to China because they made stuff out of it. But now they don't buy ut anymore sooo I have no idea what happens to it.

Can you please do a video on how you’re doing this placenta thing? I really want to encapsulate mine but I have no idea where to start.. and I’m kind of embarrassed to bring it up to my dr because they are definitely not “granola” lol

Love your videos. You guys are a power couple 😎😎 Encapsulating the placenta is such a personal choice hey. I totally looked into too, but decided it wasn’t for me. After researching it, I felt it had done it’s amazing jobs for 5 months and it was more a byproduct of pregnancy. I also was a bit scared of infection. Plus, I found it hard to find compelling scientific research. What was the turning point for you to do it?

If he’s squeamish about the encapsulation, I imagine he’d be horrified to hear some people put a bit of the placenta in the mom’s cheek to try and prevent hemorrhage immediately after birth. No idea if there’s any validity to this theory but the idea is that the placenta and umbilical cord contain oxytocin. In hospital births, they automatically give you pitocin to manage that stage.
