​@@voxdracoTotally understandable. I get a feeling that most folks would cherry-pick certain questions they can run with and do maybe a 30 minute video, but you went above and beyond! You gave your time (and not insubstantial amount of time at that) to acknowledge the many folks that posed a question, be it as serious or silly as some of them may be, and gave genuine answers. Serious props to you on that! I've observed a few other content creators build a fabulous community from a solid foundation of good audience to creator interaction, and they've grown amazingly well. I look forward to seeing that happen with you.

As a fellow Taidum I can also confirm that no offense was done XD, it's kind of funny to see how everyone sees us as tiny dumb gremlins. honestly I think a large reason why we use that avatar base is because it allows us to be silly without repercussions, which can be quite rare IRL.

When it comes to species the Wodagon is free for anyone to use, it's a half-wolf half-dragon hybrid created through genetic experimentation, canonically all Wodagons are fugitives and viewed as living weapons by var as they have several various abilities each different from one to the other, same applies to an extent to their appearances, for instance my sona look mostly wolf-like with some minor draconic features, like draconic eyes and little horns on his head. Colors vary as well as fir patterning or scale patterning if you want. Also VoxDraco is cute boi, too late truth hath been spoken, ta ta 😘

Resonite is effectively Neos, the devs and community formed it after the two year legal struggle with the other founder. And don't worry about setting up the avatar, you don't have to do it from scratch more than once (unless you want to keep improving it XD) Most of my time in resonite is spent just chilling with friends.

For my VR play time VRchat stopped tracking it show 3 k hours but my steam VR shows almost 5k hours despite the fact I only play VRchat

Hey Vox, thanks for answering my question towards the end! Shame my username couldn't be said tho :( I hope it's just a pronunciation issue and not a political one. My name was simply a result of generating a funny name via Wikipedia's random article function (sometimes referred to as _WikiRoulette_ ) I made over a year ago. The literal first 2 searches landed on _Jambalaya_ (the food) and _Jihad_ (the other "Crusades")... and since I mispronounced _Jambalaya_ as _Jumbalaya_ when first reading it, I kept that quirk and added an "h" for elegance. I needed a new callsign to update an ancient username originating back from my Runescape 2 days. I honestly mean no offence. If it is a political issue, then I sincerely apologize. The latter half of my new username has been giving me a lot of trouble as of recent events. So again, if that's the case, I'm sorry. Truly.

awesome video! It was really enjoyable to watch! At 1:29:51 you were implying something about how "cacti" can have a different interpretation. I'm *really* curious what that is, but I wasn't able to find anything when searching for it. Would it be possible to explain what that is, or at least where I can find that information if you are unable to explain it? At 1:40:25 you talked about how you tried Neos and how you didn't like it because it felt like work, and that the game is dead. First of all, a new game has been created that from my understanding is a copy of Neos (Since I'm pretty sure it is open source?) which is called Resonite, which from my understanding was created after the changes happened to Neos that killed it. From my understanding pretty much everyone from Neos has moved to Resonite. Secondly, I know Neos is very hard to first get into compared to VRC, but I'm curious how you were thinking when you said that it felt like work, because you trying to set up an avatar from the start, isn't that pretty much the exact equivalent of going into Unity to make an avatar just as you start playing VRC? From my understanding the only difference is that you have different workflows, where Neos (Although I basing everything off of Resonite, since I haven't played Neos) has the type of workflow where you do pretty much everything in-game instead of through Unity, like how you code logic for your avatar and make materials in VR that you can then directly try out compared to VRC where you have to publish the avatar and stuff like that. Is it perhaps because Neos's workflow was similar to what you do for work, or that you had to learn an entirely new system, or something like that?

The first question... if you really want to know and I take no responsibility for this, but at in the moment I assumed they meant DHC as in don't hug cacti. They are a suit maker that... well got exposed for some very dark stuff. You have been warned. If you have a sensitive temperament, don't google it. The second point, yes. It felt like work because I spend all day looking at documentation and configuring stuff. I can't personally be bothered to do that in a social setting. idm doing it in unity and blender every so often, but it gave the impression this is a huge part of the platform and I just didn't want to do it.
