I'd be interested in hearing about the libido/ace stuff. I think that's not something that is well discussed on KZbin as far as I have seen, and if you're interested in sharing, I think it could be useful to others. Also, your voice sounds so good! Glad you're feeling more congruency with yourself and your voice. :)

I'm glad youre happy with your voice drop! I want to give you tips with the acne management. Washing your face with a facewash is a given, but what you also might want to try is a vitamin C serum AND!!! very important, a SPF for your face. Japan has very good skincare and are masters in producing comfortable, non sticky sun screens and I recommend the face sun lotion by Hadalabo. It should be easy to find since it's a japanese product. Sun causes your acne scars to get worse or form in the first place, so SPF is adviced. Vitamin C serums (for example, Klairs Vitamin C Drop) even out your skin tone and thus help fade your scarring, but if you apply it during the day time you'll definitely need sunscreen. Generally, though most people are too lazy for it and I can understand, a proper skin regiment of Cleansing, Toning, Exfoliating, Moisturizing and Sun protection would help you manage your skin a lot, I've been there haha.

thanks a lot for the advice! i wish i wasn't so lazy and just generally bad at taking care of myself in general... ;( i haven't heard of vitiman c serums being useful, so that's interesting to hear. i'd heard similar about bio oil and bought some of that a while ago... any experience with that? as for sunscreen, must admit that sunscreen is pretty much a foreign concept to me and i tend to avoid Japanese skin products in general because so many have skin bleaching chemicals in them because of Japan's obsession with pale skin... but i'll try to keep sunscreen in mind. thanks again!

I'm in the same boat! I'm also really apprehensive to start t myself since there are some changes that i'm really hesitant about dealing with.

I'd definitely like to see a video on asexuality and libido. I seem to constantly flip-flop on whether or not I want to start T (although I'm leaning toward not going on T), and the potential effect of T on libido is one of the things I'm concerned about.

Ughh, I'm so sorry, that sounds like such a stressful situation! Do you think your doctor would be open to your T-trajectory if you told them that the rapidity of the changes made you realize you're eksu jendaa. You'd definitely have to do some educational/emotional labour, but I imagine it's hard to totally have your options to go back on T potentially limited because of the binary, rigid healthcare. I hope you find a good solution! Thank you for sharing your journey. There are really so few non-binary people on you tube and the T updates have really, really helped me understand how T works in lower doses and some of the changes that non-binary folks might really be concerned (or happy) about. So valuable and really appreciated. ❤

thank you so much for this kind and thoughtful comment. i appreciate your kind words and suggestion, although i'm afraid that coming out as non-binary and attempting to educate him about it isn't an option. that said, i'm sure things will work out somehow...! thanks again. :)

I would love an ace libido video! I'm on a new birth control and have been dealing with an increase in libido and would love to hear about your experience with it!

thanks for the feedback, but also interesting! i was on birth control for over a decade and it seemingly decreased what little libido i had. libido changes are so... sigh.

A friend of mine who was on T for a while stopped because they had to move to Nagano for work reasons. That could be a way to get out of it without issue if you wanted, I'm not sure the clinic would be able to tell that you actually moved or not. Then if you wanted to restart you could just be like "hey moved back to Tokyo"
@QueerAsCat6 жыл бұрын
faking having moved, or even having just been away traveling, is indeed an option. thanks. :)

I'm non binary transmasculine in Japan and therefore very interested in your chronicling of being on T in Japan. When and if you go off of T can you talk about that and how that went and how you went about it or if you stayed on it.

Regarding the stopping T dilemma and the clinic, couldn't you just pretend that you had to go back to America (or elsewhere) for a while due to an emergency and couldn't get your T while you were there or something like that? I feel like that would be a pretty good excuse. Would they have any way of knowing if that's true?
@QueerAsCat6 жыл бұрын
hmmmm...... that might work, actually. thanks for the idea. :)
