Very interesting to see CX there and a nice catch filming the landing. I get uneasy just seeing the seat pitch on the regular seats. Looks like it was a very low load factor on the flight.

tyyppis7 load factor was perhaps 40%.. The difference in pitch is staggering. 10 or so years ago CX's Middle East mini hub was Bahrain and when they started flights to RUH they were all via Bahrain same with Jeddah. Now it's Dubai and the Bahrain morning arrival is from Dubai.. They also have evening flights but I'm not sure of routing and scheduling.

If yu are not bound by timing or FFP I would suggest QR or WY to get a mix of aircraft and connect at an airport that is not overly crowded. I would not recommend SV.

They ( The Bahrainis) are very friendly indeed..I have made some stopovers there in 2007 and 2008..very relaxed place without this Manhattan mania that Dubai is suffering from..

аслан авиа it never started as intended in Saudi Arabia.. I have seen a few almaha registered aircraft being painted to full QR livery. I think it will be no more.
