I had to adjust the video because I actually had it in auto and it was overcast. All in all the video is great in my opinion for sport mode with turns. This is a quality built quad, quick in flight and very stable with a good camera. Loving it! 🧡

Hi Chris - On the 2018, @ 3:35-3:45 you report no lag on FPV and good transmission, the icon for FPV is amber. Is/was that a condition that would happen often? I tend to panic as a new 2020 owner, and a new drone flyer who's drone is admittedly more advanced than I am, lol. I'm taking it slow, flying with 13+ sats, in good conditions, no over discharging batteries and such. I did a few 35 MPH Sport Mode blasts @ about 10 ft. altitude in the soccer field yesterday. Love the sound of it booking past me! Also did a spot-on perfect orbit of the church steeple, lit by dramatic sunset, with video NOT recording. aaarrrggghhh! 😢 That sucked, but there will be other sunsets. Just a dumb newbie mistake, not a crash after all.

It does depending on where you fly. This area looks perfect but I do get a bad path in the signal due to the mountains and the further out I go here the ground elevation rises. Amber is just a reduction so no issues when you see that. Red is where you will start to see big lag and breakup.

Just don't push it away during takeoff or it could crash. Saw that in a video so just let it leave your hand on it's own I think

The X8 performs well. Fimi says they are on track to address issues in upcoming updates which is good news. I did find that prolonged full throttle did produce that Overload warning. A few seconds off the stick and it goes away. The parabolics work well byt who needs the? The X8 has great range (in open areas) just being stock. Thanks :)

@@goldie9864 There are quite a few of which all have been brought to the attention of Fimi. Promises have been received that work on them is slow but positive. The X8 is developing and will be fine tuned by mid summer I am sure.

Great test flight, and I love that location. The Fimi does have good range, I just hope that overheating warning doesn't become a problem down the road. But this is a great quad for $399, and I hope many peoople use you link to buy one, it's such a great cause your helping out.

Ron Brown That overheating is momentary if you just back off a little. It was hot and humid with full sticks for most the flight in sport mode. I’m happy for that warning. 👍

18andlikeit Before what you first see I was 300 meters out and stopped the flight to turn off recording and change the camera settings so it would be better viewed based on the conditions. That’s where I started the actual screen recording there in the video.

Hello, can you enumerate some issues of this drone in all aspects if you found any? It had its latest July 31, 2019 firmware updates, has the issues been dealt with? For me the main issue is the camera quality at auto settings, the bluish fuzzy background quality is not so great compared to Zino and its very low ground clearance is waiting for disaster to happen on the camera? Even though it has bottom sensors, will it be able to fight the wind better than the Zino? What do you think?

@@epsonexxon1088 I have no issues with mine because I stopped updating about two updates back. I don't think there is anything good or worth updating at this point and it seems others are complaining while mine is doing just fine because I left it and the app alone. My only issue is slight horizon unbalance but that I can live with and fix in editing. I'm also happy with the camera quality and don't think it's any better or worse than the zino. I think it's truer to color than the zino in fact. Zino overdoses the color a bit.

Does the return home feature expect a landing pad or the drone remembers your hand and drops back to your hand?

None remember your hand. They have these precise landing features that I don’t use that are supposed to see the landing pad and land. None ever work 100% of the time and will cause you some grief. Auto features are where more accidents happen so my advice is use RTH when you have to and only as long as you have to. Fly your quad manually as often as possible and you will have full control of its destiny which is less likely a crash in most cases. Precise landing to a apron is probably my most hated feature. Precise landing to me is just get it close enough for me to catch. 👍🏻

@@bushpilot-bm3kf well, yes. I tried it, but found that the actual zooming process is kinda uncomfy. You gotta spin the right wheel on the controller like hell and it zooms really slowly. Maybe there are other ways to zoom in faster but I have not found them yet.

Salman Butt A few things people need to keep in mind is it’s a fairly new product in high demand so there is a little waiting period in that along with the fact it comes from China. The mistake people make is passing up a good deal because it could be a month till it arrives. Putting it off takes longer to get one than jumping on board now. So the short part of the answer is honestly I can’t tell you but my guess is a month. A shipment is due in to banggood tomorrow so I’m told and they will ship in chronological order. Hope that helps 👍

I don't think that's a speak for all statement. Mine is fine with a good card and gets great range every flight. It never just goes into RTH for no reason so you may want to check yours out. This sounds like you have a problem that isn't a problem everyone has.
