i picked up the same setup in november. And the sound is absolutely awesome. I have had nothing but compliments about the sound. Don't use the poles, the highs will not be high enough over the crowds head. I'm glad i bought the qsc system no regrets.

I own the k12's and love them. I don't have the subs though. The club I work in also has a k12 system and subs. It's a small club but on average we get 200+ a night in there, some nights its 300-350 and with only 2 speakers and 2 subs, and pounding beats all night, the system hasn't failed yet. Great quality

hey brandon i also have the yorkville and do abuse them to time to time. and they can handle it and deliver but qsc is still very good

I have the k12 they are great speakers I am adding the kw181 to my system this year. Nice choice the back panel and warranty help my make my decision when I was shopping for the cabinets plus they sounded great.

I also have one of the QSC KW181 and 2 QSC KW122 which have been great for me with 200-300 people crowds. I'm going to get another 181 sub but for now these are great. On a side note I actually had to use the warranty as one of the amps went out after a year on one of the KW122. I called QSC and explained what happened and after some tech support I followed the online RMA process and was told to just send in the amp section only and it was replaced with a NEW unit to my house in 2 weeks.

I got 4 of the k12s the best investment ever. For subs I use the yorkville ls801pb they sound gr8 with the k12 believe it or not.

Brandon, I think you made a great descision on the K-12's at least. As you know I have 4 of them, however I run them with my Yorkville Subs, Hey to each is own, right. One thing you forgot to mention was the 7.5 - 0 tilt that the K-12's offer. That's a really nice feature. And lastly, I still have not received my ST-132 crank stands, they should be in any day now. When I do, I will post a vid on my global truss flying high! How's mama doing by the way? Cya Jeff

Love the Video, I Have a set of the QSC12' And One K12sub. I Love the sound. I Moved Up from My 15' Mackies Thumps and !8' Mackie Sub. QSC Much Better Sound, Power Ext. I am Thinking about buying The QSC KW181 sub, or another QSC12" what do you think?

Im so stuck on one thing tho..QSC K12s OOORRRR JBL PRX112....I do have a question tho...what made you change your mind? a lot of Videos back, you talked about how you didnt want ANY powered speakers. Im guessing the 6 yr warrenty is what helped? Either way I cant wait to take the time to go out an updrade to these babies or the JBLs...

I noticed you mentioned hooking up sub to mixer then up to K12. I have the k12 and Ksub, generally same setup, however I daisy chain the K12 to Sub, (set extsub) on K12. Is there a benefit to connecting the Sub to Mixer directly then up to K12 as u mentioned? Thanks Very good video btw.

@stewardsproductions yeah man. i guarantee you the first time you try out this system, your gonna say "DAMN, BLENDZ WAS RIGHT!" hahaha Trust me, it will go hard! I am not even exaggerating when i say that you have enough power for a party of over 1000 people! just make sure you run your k12s in "EXT MODE", and lean on your subs for bass. if you put the subs side-by-side, you will get even more bottom. also, you are gonna love the way these joints can fit under a table. the hpr181 did not.

I DJ. I just bought a Paradigm PW-2200 subwoofer (active). It is 250watts. I have to other speakers that are passive, and are 600watts each. I want to run all 3 together through my amplifier that I have. Question is, will my subwoofer (250w) blow, running it on my amp with the two other speakers? B/c I know it has a built in amp on its own, so I don't think it should. But someone please let me know. Thanks.

Never ever run an amp into a powered speaker. Power plus Power = boom.. Lol. Pls don't do it. Your sub already has an amp. No need to plug it into another. Your subs amp is made specific for your subwoofer. Hopefully u didn't do it. I see your post is a year old. Wish I could have helped you earlier.
