KZbin is still processing the 4K footage. I apologize in advance if you are still seeing this in 360p instead of 4k

Very nice, 10 minutes of flight can't beat that! It's very difficult around here in Atlanta to get a descent flight in, due to all the jogging and dogs running around.That's an awesome camera view and the quad is so smooth. Thanks for sharing!😅

Thank you Brother Mike! Sorry for the late reply, but I'm not getting messages from KZbin automatically. I just discovered the Comments tab in my dashboard, and see that I missed a ton of comments. LOL. Have a blessed week

Hi, I have rebuilt the Bacon Ninja 6S quadmula SF3 with a much lighter set-up (AIO stack, stripped out plastic parts, xt30) and use the Emax 2004 motors with 3000kv. Total ready to fly set-up, even with an added GPS pigtail from flywoo and a beeper, without batteries is 205gr. This is 40gr lighter than Bacon Ninjas set-up. I started with GNB LiPos, since they are high voltage and rd. 20% lighter than any other brand. Currently I run with 530mAh (only 74gr) 6s and get a total flight time of 5:30 mins. In order to reach 10mins I am wondering if I should buy the 850mAh (103gr), or 1100mAh (130gr). Even with the 1100mAh my total weight incl battery is only 335gr. What would you recommend? Still looking for the sweet spot. Thanks

As an end-user, I just weighed mine and dry it is to 214 g. Yours is 10gr less. Grams matter on a 3 inch for sure. I think you’ll be better off with that 850 mA Full Send that I used and not have to maintain a 50percent throttle for minimal control. If you fly like I did, I’m confident you will break my 9:40min flight and have great control to freestyle or punch out when you need it. Just my opinion!😁
@hansrenkes8385
@hansrenkes8385 Жыл бұрын
Thanks that makes absolutely sense. Would you buy the iflight fullsend 850 over the GNB 850? The latter is 103gr (=44gr lighter then the fullsend) and has a little more usable voltage (HV-LiPo), 22,8 vs 22,2v. I believe to max out weight and flight time I would go with the GNBs unless you have valid reasons, why these the worse choice. In any way, after my tests, I will let you know the result of my flight time ;-)

@@hansrenkes8385 honestly, everybody has their own opinions because of past experiences. As for me, I have not had great past experiences with xT30 GNB batteries. 1500+ xT60 GNB’s have an excellent night. But like I said. XT30’s GNB’s I have often had short lifespans for me, and I felt inflated Mah claims. Some of their lower xt30 4’s and 6s lipos looked like they took a bunch of cheap 1’s packs in series. Like I said, everyone has different experiences.

Scotty, one question: with your quadmula, is it wobbling and shaking, as well, when you throttle up and kill the throttle to let come back to the ground? Some are saying this is propwash, but I was just wondering if this has something to do with the idle throttle setting. Just wondering?

Scotty, I received my GEPRC 1100mAh 6S (130gr) and measured my flight time while cruising: I made it to 11mins @ 3,45mAh when landed. My new record.

Well I think you are holding the record in long range 3” brother! I’m digging this frame with the 03 air unit. Status Practicing Sbang today. The frame is really holding up to abuse, but I’m going to order more arms regardless! Lol

Yeah I hate flying my Mavic Air and Avata because they are obnoxiously loud and you can't be inconspicuous. I can't wait to get those things away from me after launch. Looks like a great lil quad. I have the AOS 3.5 but have yet taken it up. Only 4s though

Thanks Brother! I not getting all of my comments automatically and just saw yours! My apologies. I was close to buying the avata, but when I finally heard the noise that it made, I decided to buy the Mini 3 pro for traveling. It's crazy quiet and people actually love it. So now my travel goto is the Mini 3 Pro and this little guy which doesn't bother people. Someone walked up to me in Catalina Island and offered to buy the mini 3 pro because they loved how quiet it was. I literally took apart all of my cinewhoops and put the components on freestyle frames.

@@scottgivens27 yeah I think someone was flying a mini 2 or 3 in Rio when I was there. Most people didn't even notice it and it was flying about 20 feet over head. I was marveling at how quiet it was. I might have to get one... Damn it.

@@StrillLife The mini 3 Pro is absolutely amazing, and probably the last drone no professionals need. The horizontal camera is awesome for Instagram. And yes, I also flew that thing in Mexico super close to people eating on a beach during take off, and they didn't even hear with with the ocean breeze. It was during take off and not directly focusing on them for any Karen's out here. Lol

I wanted to get 550-650mah for freestyle but unfortunately I could only get these exact ones you're using and I have a couple of questions if you don't mind. Are using the stock capacitor that came with the frame? How much does this build weigh? And how good is it with freestyle on this battery?

A couple years back I built a 3" toothpick 1303 5000kv 4s 850mah. All up weight was 158g. I could get 12 minutes easy.

Yep, I believe it! The lighter the quad, the better the flight time. This one is 330gr to 360gr. So I'm very suprised how nimble it is as will as the flight time with a 6s 850mah.

I had something similar w/ gps rescue on 4.4. it was working great and another time I tried it it started flying the wrong way. I tried to take over and it dropped out the sky

I'm seeing a lot of problems with 4.4. I recently viewed a Bardwell review on the new Explorer 4". It clearly blacked out during his review and the 03 air unit was overheating and he didn[t say anything about it when it happened. Something inconsistent is going on with betalfight 4.4. I downgraded to 4.3

The props on view are a deal breaker for me. I was torn between this and Aos3.5 and went with the Aos. 6s 40amp mamba aio. T motor P 1604’s pretty happy with it. Nice build though man. I should see how much time I get.
@scottgivens27

All a matter of preference Brother. Surprisingly, depending on my angle of the camera, randomly I would not see props. The good news is, there is now a 3.5” version of the Quadmula which may eliminate that problem. Thanks for stopping by!

@@scottgivens27Hey 👋, where is that 3.5" version of the quadmuma F3? Havent found it. I used the Cloud 160 3.5" O3 frame for my build. No props in view. Also the new gemfan 3630 props are awesome

@@chrisbee5481 I believe you were right Brother Chrisbee. I have looked after being told by a friend quadmula was selling the 3.5" arms and have not seem them as well. Although I love my quadmula, I wanted to build a 4" long range freestyle, so I built up a Harmattan Bobcat 4". If flew well till it crashed and the thin arms snapped like toothpicks. So now I built my FPV Cycle Fouride 4" and I haven't seen any props in view, but I am running an Akaso action camera on top and it's performing very well and extremely crash resistant. The Fouride has been my most durable 4" quad and an excellent flyer. Its much more durable than my Quadmula or CMW Shocker 4" Here is an unlisted flight video I took with it doing freestyle with and AUW of 541grams. Yes very heavy with a full size action camera and 1500 mag 4s Lipo. But look how well it performs. studio.kzbin.infoeGYC4vXV0Xs/edit

@@scottgivens27 thanks for the link. Actually I checked some of your Videos today and that one too. Seems we both love 4". If I can recommend you some stuff: Amax F4mini frame is very light and durable. My favourite 4" 5mm mount props are the emax 4024. If you have T mount motors, the new Dalprop t4024 are awesome. I love 4" on 2004 or 2005 motors. Also the new gemfan 3630 gets pretty close to a good 4" prop. But it would be nice for some new good 4" props. Maybe the aos 4 frame might be good. Only available on cnc drones. Shipping and tax is too expensive to germany, so I'm out.

In video description you say about perfect setup being "1404 4600 kv on 4s". Can you please explain from your experience why 4600 is exactly perfect for such drone? And when to use the other option (3800 kv), is it for 4s as well or for 6s? Thanks for the video btw :)

We all have our preferences my friend, I use both. You can also set up your 4s motors to be able to run 6s if your stack is 6s compatible. There is a big difference in flight performance on the low end IMO. I love the flexibility of this hobby!
