This is exactly easy I've been going through meant my whole after 24 years old life. I'm 46. Ben, you explained the pain so spot on👍 In super looking forward to receiving my QL Claw in the mail....unfortunately I've got to wait longer for it over here in Australia. The more of your videos I watch and the more I read, the more confident I get in the Claws ability to bring relief 👌

Just got a claw. The QL is slippery and very difficult to pin down. The Claw grabs the QL and stays on till the muscle relaxes. Very well made, one of my best purchases ever! Truly a back fixer.

I Have lower back injury from a snowboard fall 5 years ago. Officially diagnosed as a soft tissue injury. I constantly go through a cycle of letting it heal then reaggravating it. Pain starts right above iliac crest, I can put my finger right on the spot along top of the hip. As it becomes more aggravated with use, pain moves up into the maroon area in your pain diagram at the begging of this video. It is definitely crunchy in the area right along the hip. I've tried massage a massage gun and a thera cane on this spot. It usually becomes very sore almost feels bruised after intense massage. I've also tried chiro, pt, acupuncture and prp without improvement. PT thought it was the QL but couldn't fix it. Also had about 5 MRIs and nothing shows up. In your experience should I be targeting the QL? I used to be a avid weight lifter before this injury and this has derailed my hobby. Looking for any help, I can't find any answers. Thanks.

I just ordered the claw. I'll try it out to see if it works. I figure it's half the price of a massage and I might get a lot more use out of it.

Thanks for sharing and ordering a claw. It sounds muscle-related, and I’d definitely work the QL with the Claw but check out the other muscles in can be used on too, because an injury from an event like snowboarding probably left several muscles in spasm. Also - do not use a massage gun/percussion on the low back! It is too violent for that area and can leave it tighter. Best of luck

@@BackMuscleSolutions Ok I will try to massage a few different areas with the claw and do some stretching and strengthening. Do you think the muscle would still be is spasm from 5 years ago? What other muscle group would you recommend concentrating on that would be most closely relate to the QL in your experience? I do get a pulling sensation (same side as injury) on my outer thigh when my back is inflamed. Not the back of the leg but the front of the leg quad to outer quad area. It happens with any psoas stretch like couch stretch or kneeling hip flexor stretch. They have to be related. I don't know how to go about solving the issue.

What if there's pain after side planks ? That's good after strengthening?
@BackMuscleSolutions Жыл бұрын
If there is pain after side planks, there is either unresolved QL tension, other muscles at play (upper glutes and hip flexors likely), or something structural going on

Hey man that sounds rough. It could be a lot of things, feel free to shoot me an email to give more background if you’d like. Based on this alone tho, I’d look into getting out of spasm with a professional in person

Is there a big symptom difference between muscle strain and bulged disc?
@BackMuscleSolutions Жыл бұрын
Good question - I will make a video on this but the key symptom difference is that muscle strain tends to be uncomfortable and painful all the time no matter what you do, while disc-bulge pain presents during and after certain movements like spinal flexion, extension, sitting, twisting, etc.
