I wish those squads would have randomized loadout every time you spawn also with soldier classes that are completely different for example 5x mg gunners with randomized guns like mg34/mg42/mg15, and 3x at gunners with panzerfausts and a single assaulter with a rifle or mp40 because we ran out of stgs.

@@Dregomz02 You can do it yourself, the game itself is a sandbox for you to insert your headcannon in. An STG officer who commands a squad of volksturm militia armed with K98 kriegsmodel, VG2 rifle, VG1 assault carbine, Pz Faust and some M1895 Mannlicher. Totally realistic, wayy better at giving the game the feels than the usual 4 STGs assaulter squad, or the gold weapon spammer.

Personally the Berreta M38a is my BR1 smg of choice, the thing is a laser beam and incredibly cheap to upgrade. The reload speed isnt that slow and with the right perks the 20 round mag doesnt feel too much of a detriment

It's good but unfortunately you need to dump a bunch of exp on the drilling to unlock it, and the drilling is shit. That said, I would absolute go for the M38A, that thing at least has a chance against the fucking soviets and their bullshit op SMGs. The MP34 simply doesn't have the firerate to get damage out quick enough

I double gun it and the mp28 on my br1 assaulters. You've got answers for everything, and still have double the ammo.

The vz 24 is actually just a Czech Mauser, based on the German WW1 infantry rifle, the Gewher 98. The only main difference is that the bolt is slightly higher and the barrel is shorter. I only knew it existed because I’m a history buff lol

Though I don't play Axis (yet), I enjoyed this style of dive, as a new player with the Steam release! Currently focusing on Western Allies, getting the best of the BR2 equipment before moving up to BR2 full time (i.e. outside of event challenges)

May I suggest making class specific series on different BR brackets explaining ins and outs of their gameplay in different situations and thought process behind decisions players should adopt to get better/expend their repertoire. Maybe snippets from your game footage explaining situation and what to do.

The German AT is just rough because its so slow, i use it to get maybe 1 or 2 kills to stop a low br tank push, a lot of the front armor near the hatches are less thick, and as well as around gun ports and vision ports, typically shoot turret, left side, right side, move. you gotta be stupid accurate to hit those spots past 40M but its possible, sniped a few tanks with it around 70M but you do bounce more at longer ranges

What's irksome to me is that you can't sprint with the German AT rifles, or with the GrB-39, but you can sprint with Allied AT weapons that are supposed to be even heavier. Edit: Ah, they nerfed the Boys AT rifle since the last time I used it...

I just started playing three days ago and i choosed Japan. I'm grinding the first radio guy on tier two. Im slowly turning into a masochist getting the same maps over and over again and playing against America and their Springfield and smgs.

Where did you get the rank 1 assaulter from? Just had 2 friends start the game and I told them to unlock Assaulter in their squad, just to discover, that the rank 1 assaulter basically got replaced by the medic and you cant get any of them.

A major drawback of the Kar98 is the reload, where other rifles have strip clips you load each bullet 1 at a time with the 98, making prolonged firefights pretty unbearable

I’m a massive fan of Bereta 38MA, super cheap to fully upgrade, accurate, perfect fire rate and good handling SMG (this gun doesn’t even need recoil reduction skills). 20 round mag is a big down side, but I would choose it anyday over MP34(o). Recoil is all over the place, slow rpm, too big iron sights and weapond doesn’t feel good to shoot😅.

Really think there should be an MG at BR I. Each faction should have a WW1 era slow-firing HMG, like a Maxim or MG 08/15. Hopefully that will come in the future. Doesn't make sense for there not to be a squad with a carryable MG (I know engis can build nests).

1. Engie squad -- good! Imagine building a real machine gun in a BR where machine guns are rare. Super cool. 2. OK but why use a medic squad when you can still use Assaulters with ammo pouches, engies, radio and AT men, etc. Makes little sense unless you are investing in meme economy. 3. Snipers? If you have only 3 infantry squads you are bound to cycle through them. And most of the time you need to either hold or storm a point. Snipers are suboptimal for both. I would suggest the old and boring assaulters or the recent signals squad. 4. Plane squad with the 250kg figher IAR-81C to kill greyzone tanks on defense. Quick, efficient, easy. Or take PzIIIJ and arm your guys with SMGs.

Going to have to love people who stack 3 SMGs squad on tier I to curbstomp the newbs. It will be a part of the problem if you do that. But you do you. Another point is, Medic as a class is under utilized, partly because people move on to Assaulter and the healing box is next-to-zero in effectiveness, using the medic is mostly a role-play mode, as you drop your 5 med-crate across the map for any survivor from the last assault to use, if they even value their soldier life. Also, most people in tier 1 do not have the small backpack, which limits their health-pack count to 1, using the medcrate give you 1 extra medpack, as if you are using light backpack, so 2 medpack in your soldier. Especially for specialist like radio man who cannot carry more than 1 medpack. People don't use med-pack anyway, its uses are niche and invisible, borderline useless, so medic is entirely recreational, ... and a easy medal at the end of the game for most, which can boost your XP.

Dude the BR system ks messed up. I used a gold order weapon for Russia that i just stafted using. If I add that 1 gun then i have to play at BR V when all my squads are 1 and now also 2. So stupid how 1 gun makes that change.

USSR doesn't have that much good things in BR 1-2. Germans have much better equipment in theese BR.Their bolt actions are mostly meh, PPS is kinda good smg and their tanks are paper.
