ofc there is, did you even watch the video? Click/levelling wars were a thing back then so if you're going to be raising with bluffs a lot then you have to also do it with strong hands to maximise the value out of them. Getting into raising wars with trash and then slow playing your nuts is a recipe to not only get exploited super hard by any competent player but also just costing yourself money either way. Now sure he has all his AQ/KQ to raise with and if there's ever a time to still slowplay then QQ is it (as a solver will obviously show) - but in a specific spot forgetting balance and you expect your opponent to react in a way vs a raise compared to if you just call then it's definitely viable to play it like this.

It's not THIS bad, but the 1st time I ever played live for serious money, in a 10/25/25 game, I was crushed in a boat vs quads situation, on my 4th hand. Welcome to NLH, I hope you have more bullets! At least the guy who won had the decency to look embarrassed and apologized. 😆 I was felted twice in that session and lost $12k, and was down nearly 20k after a few hours, but clawed back 8 on the tail end.

@noelcook2389 Sexton is in the hall of fame for his colour commentary. From a time, when it was normal for commentators to have no clue about the game. The only ne who had some understanding in those days was Gabe Kaplan. And have you seen Laak play lately? He was probably break even on High Stakes Poker 15 years ago. And hasn't improved an iota since.
