It honestly just blows me away that they not only added skins from Quake 4, but from all of the previous as well. I was excited to see the updated Quake 2 models. Plus, how they're shown off in this video's done really well too.

awesome video, but why does the Q3 rocket launcher and railgun look like shit? they made other Q3 guns look good. why do those ones look like they've been stained with mud and are way too fat.

I agree. Even if it is made the best, it is not enough. Neither the price nor the memories are satisfactory. I wonder if the skins from Quake 3 were brought as they are. ha-ha

Yes, and I personally don't like the Q3 shotgun being so big, and the Q2 rail and hyper blaster. Hyper looks way too small and disproportionate, and I dunno what's up with the rail gun. Also Q3 LG looks off now that I see it again

@@T4nkcommander the Q2 railgun is more based off of the quake wars version for some reason. i don't think it looks bad, but i agree that it could've looked a lot closer to the og Q2 rail

@@T4nkcommander Honestly, all the Q3 guns look like sht in my op-the more zoomed out view of QC really runs the appearances of a lot of the q3 weapons. Personally, the only good ones are the railgun and the launcher.

They messed up the sounds, all too bass-boosted. The Quake 3 / Live railgun for example sounds NOTHING LIKE 13:11 in the original games. It also has a different shape and different color. I'm very disappointed with how the remakes of Quake 3 / Live guns turned out overall.

Everyone QQ's about weapon balance rather than making an enjoyable game these days. A BFG in a map doesn't make it unbalanced when everyone is on a level playing field - the only separation is the individuals talent.

@@IIiNixII The Q3 BFG is certainly fun, but its not a unique weapon. Its just a glorified rocket launcher. A BFG should have its unique mechanic which indeed offer rather the doom bfgs. I mean we could make a balanced variant, but the mechanic should be unique

I uploaded a video for Quake 1 in the past. I was trying to make a 100% complete video. I gave up due to copyright issues. Quake 3 did a good job as a clan for several years. It's difficult over the years. Personally, I like the Quake series more than Doom.

I wish I could 3D print my arsenal 2.0 with a resin 3D printer at full weapon scale . That would be nice so I could have them as cosplay accessories . But I cannot because my family can’t afford to do so , that makes me vary Sad . Because I can’t get into cosplay.

Other games: use bullets, shells, batteries, rockets, grenades, energy cells and fuel for weapons. Quake: nah, nails are fine too :).

They made a very weird decison about the skins. For MOST of the remastered weapons (the quake 1-4 weapons remasters), they're pretty much a very beautiful HD texture remaster of the original versions EVEN WITH ORIGINAL SOUND DESIGN, just with more natural treble and non-compressed like the old games. buit WHY ON FUCKING GOD'S GOOD EARTH WOULD THEY DECIDE TO KEEP THAT FUCKING UGLY SOUNDING COMPRESSED QUAKE 2 SHOTGUN SOUND FOR THE BOOMER SKIN?!?!? IT'S JUST SO PAINFULLY BAD TO LISTEN TO! NO SHOTGUN ON THE PLANET SOUNDS LIKE THAT, AND EVEN IF ONE DID, I WOULD NOT ENJOY FIRING THAT THING IF I HAD TO HEAR SUCH A MUFFLED WASHED OUT BOOM LIKE THAT! BUT THANK GOD THEY INCLUDED THE DOOM 2016 SHOTGUN, THAT WAS A NICE TOUCH! X3 😍

I think the Boomer's low quality shot sound actually kinda has a bit of charm to it, like QC is paying respects to the original by keeping the classics as they are. But yeah, I do agree that it sounds a little too washed out and weak. Could've used a bit more bass for a more boomy sound like they did with the Quake 2 Trespasser or even the Quake 1 Double Barrel.
