Pumping Iron (or any film footage of a bodybuilder) was nowhere to be found. Being the only guy in the classroom who trained at all and being looked at as a weirdo for it, while everybody was smoking two packs a day and eating whatever. And every workout was a special happening. I would so do it all again if I could go back in time.

Forget about that stupid comment about big hair ...that's just a thin skinny hating person . Old school bodybuilding techniques is what I follow and now after a year of training that way naturally,I have a good solid physique and will ONLY FOLLOW OLD SCHOOL BODYBUILDING LEGENDS. Changed my life immensely..I'm now 221lbs of lean muscle mass, bulked, hulked,, ripped , shredded, hard and of course symetrical. These videos are a lifesaver..thanks 👍💪💪 for putting them out New school bodybuilding is all about drugs and Peds NOT FOR ME!!

Battle for Olympia 88. Ed Kawak was well overlooked and deserved top 6 for sure. He was huge, dense and shredded.

Samir looks outstanding in this video, it's gotta be training footage from his 1983 Olympia win. 80s were the best era, they have the symmetric look we all strive for in the gym.

Old school body building emulated and achieved the look of heroes and super heroes. Remember it all started with Sandow working to look like Greek and Roman statues. They looked so much like heroes they played them in movies. Modern body builders look more like the villains and monsters that the heroes are supposed to fight. Notice too, those guys got huge and could still suck their guts in.
