David Patten doesn’t get mentioned like Brown, Branch, Welker, Moss, Edelman… but he was a huge part of the dynasty’s early years. Especially 2001 but in ‘04 while Branch and Brown were hurt, Brady leaned on Patten and David Givens

This game convinced me that Bledsoe was never going to start again for the '01 Patriots. The offense already appeared so much more fluid under Brady's leadership. With a 6-14 record early in his 2nd year, Belichick's job was on the line so he was going to stick w/ what was working regardless of Bledsoe's status a N.E. icon.

i remember this whole season like it was yesterday…. sophomore in high school…. and a huge Pats fan…. although, i always did think it was possible that it was fixed for the “Patriotic” Patriots to win the superbowl this year, because of 9/11…. sports are alot more fixed than most people think… it’s a business, like any other.
