I'm a full on sony fan, and definitely never plan on playing QB on a fucking xbone lol (definitely a PC), but I don't understand how @ohgoditsJT comment relates to xbone vs ps4, seriously calm the fuck down and re-evaluate your life, fucking loser. This game isn't "BAD" but it isn't great either and some might hate it while others don't. AJ has improved now but 11months ago, AJ was quite lazy and really not timely with his reviews, add to that he still ends up short on the quantity of reviews he puts out unlike ACG. I really don't have enough outlets of non-publisher affiliated YT reviewers that review frequently enough to not only cover every AAA games, but also quite a few indie titles. Right now there might be ACG and Zero Punctuation, there might be a few others, but I don't know of them. ACG's frequency and timely reviews make it a lot easier to make my decision as opposed to relying on AJ for his review.........

I have been anticipating Quantum Break since I heard about it a while back. It actually reminds me a little bit of TimeShift which is a very underrated game. Quantum Break looks like its a lot of fun because of the time manipulation ability. I do have a couple of questions though. 1- How long is the game's campaign? I heard that the campaign is around 10 hours or less (correct me if I'm wrong). 2- Also, does the game have any replay value (multiple endings, etc)? I do agree that the shooting could have some more ump to it (not saying that it's bad but the shooting needed to be a bit more impactful). The voice acting seems like its really well done. From a graphical standpoint, the game looks pretty darn good (especially if its running on a high end PC with the details set to ultra). Particle effects, time manipulating effects and characters looks pretty impressive. Speaking of running Quantum Break on PC the game looks likes its going to be beefy as far as system specs are concerned. You have once again delivered by making another solid video as you always do. +Eiad Tarabulsi 1:The game is 10 hours long but I have heard it can be completed in under 10 hours. 1 hour is all live action{five live action segments, all 20 minutes or so} 2:yes, you will have to make choices that will affect the live action segments and can even kill some characters. Now these changes arent huge but they will make you want too play the game a second time to see what you missed. So if you like Alan wake or Max Payne, pick this up. Its good to see a triple AAA that is not shit and is worth the $60 it charges.

Yeah it's extremely underrated. I'm playing on the x now and I'm wondering how in the hell this game got so much hate. (Sony ponies?) it's awesome and creative and I love the story. People complain about anything. And sadly in the gaming news, ones' bias decision will hurt sales for others. KZbin is cancer, especially biased media. However ACG is highly respected imo.

I want to know why people hated this so much . Why low scores?.. I was hugely disappointed when Joe gave it a 4/10 .. But when you said it's a buy, I just wants to try it out .. Tried to play this on steam when I saw that it worked with Windows 7 64 bit (which is what I use) wouldn't launch, checked the cache files or whatever to see if something was wrong, didn't help. My refund is pending right now. Which is disappointing because I was looking forward to this game.

It's funny, because it always looked to me to be what you talked about in your review. I don't know what it is about some game previews that gets people hyped. I suppose if I had actually liked Alen Wake and Max Payne? Quantum Break always looked like it could be a good solid game, those others were too, but certainly not worth my attention years before its release. The only way this could have delivered (for me) is if it had launched as a complete title in 2013 with a compelling TV show launch. Wasn't Spielberg involved at one point? I cared then, but I don't give a rats ass now. Not that I won't play the game. It seems to be rather like Last of Us, a game I love but hate at the same time. Great action in some ways, particularly in the choices for taking out, or ignoring, an area filled with baddies; it has inspiring environments, and great characters with Joel and Ellie. I mean, I LOVE those two people. However, 90% of the time seems to be spent finding a ladder or a plank, and I hate that. I hate the story. I hate that badguys have infinate amo, don't reload, and don't drop jack shit. I doubt that any of the characters in Quantum Break will grab me like Joel or Ellie, but if it has enough of that magic dust that Last of Us had then I am sure that I can love the end product.

What bothers me is that the weapon models seem to be lacking some visual mechanics. The biggest factor for me will be the quality of the PC port and whether or not Microsoft can get their shit together and fix the issues the Windows Store has. I won't even consider playing this til G-Sync support is added in May, and even then I'll probably just wait for a deep discount since the DRM is so egregious. It's too bad, as I really like Remedy and I'd be happy to pay more for the product if it were released on a better distribution platform.

I just bought this Pc version game and there are only two things I highly dislike in games in general. 1) You shoot bad guys one bullet to their head and they don't die. Sometimes you have to empty one full magazine to kill one enemy. 2) The shoting shound. In this game sadly it sounds like the guns are made of plastic. Stupid gun fiting sound.
