I guess i'm more of an urban climber with parkour ideas, i'm scared of heights and love them for it. I really enjoy climbing my home when I don't wanna leave for any reason. I find a spot off the ground. In current place it's; fridge, counter, toilet, wobbly stool, or bass amp. From there I find a place to grab, or a place to lache or jump to with hand holds. If not that I get up on the roof. The current challenge is to walk along the Tall wall (like a foot wide) on my roof.

I don't do parkour or have I conditioned to doing one on my own. But as far as I like to make my fitness more functional than doing split routines. I do make my workouts with a disguise. Like doing body weight exercises for me consists of doing burpees, running, crawling, and jumping. Otherwise I go for an run with mask on. I don't have a dips bar or pull ups for my workout. Cardio of HIIT training for me helps a lot.

Parkour and acrobatics are essential skill when it comes to trail running and also road running (to me). So as to the resource I came here. I also do a resisted/weighted calisthenics and more mobility work. The encouragement to run is far more difficult than I expected not only the heat but lack of body weight equipment I have. Any words of recommendation or kindness you can spare me?

If you can do this, after things get better and if you have the time on your hand, it would be great to see vlogs of your solo training. I love solo training vlogs. I would love to see more in-depth explanations on some of your classic stunt videos. Just to give an example, I saw the Mall Cop vs Parkour video a while ago, and I was wondering how it felt to do parkour in the mall and impersonate a mall cop. I'm just curious, no ulterior cop-impersonating motive.

...Hey man, been watching your videos but I do have a question. I apologize if this is way off but.. Do you believe one could still learn and actually do Parkour with a bad shoulder? (Sore muscles just about daily.. Due to an injury (please don't mention a doctor. That route failed me), supposedly rotator cuff.. When my shoulder is in pain, I lose coordination in that hand. So can I do it one handed? And what would be your suggestions for that, to work up to it safely? I imagine strength training of some kind would be important towards it. Any tips there is also highly appreciated. I'm not a strong person and don't even know where to begin.. I don't have any gym equipment either. Although I do have 2 3 pound and 2 5 pound weights and 2 stretch bands.. But that's it. I found a long light stick though that can possibly be used like a bo staff (just....hollow). Any tips are highly appreciated. I need to get moving around.. Going stir crazy myself due to no exercise.. So I'm looking to KZbin for any way around that. And then saw your announcement video here. Saw the fact you're talking about Parkour from home too, and got my hopes up that maybe this is something I can actually do! I think it's AWESOME you are working towards being a Stunt Man. And although I haven't seen that video yet, it looks AMAZING. That had to be a challenge to film it, man. I find it highly impressive you did all that alone (I know you didn't have a choice, that's not what I mean. I mean look at it. What you pulled off alone, shows your skill and talent right there!) Goodluck to you, sir! :) Thank you for all you share with us! Finishing watching this video now. Just stopped it cause you mentioned questions.. And before I ask specific ones about those videos... I have to know if I can even do Parkour at all.. *nods*

I admire your enthusiasm for parkour and also your concern for your safety. That is important when taking up a sport like parkour. I've dealt with various injuries during my years of parkour and have always found if I listen to my body, and take it slow and only do that that feel comfortable during time that I'm dealing with injuries I'm usually able to manage. I too have dealt with shoulder issues in the past which has prevented me from building my upper body strength a lot, and doing certain parkour movements sometimes. The important thing is to be as warmed up as possible and just focus on the basics and see how it feels, then very slowly progress the movements and being very mindful of your shoulder as you do so.
@Convoluted-and-Exiled4 жыл бұрын
@@ronniestreetstunts Thank you for understanding and I appreciate the even admiring my enthusiasm. That's definitely a important thing to keep in mind and going slowly. I agree. However, what warm-ups would you recommend from that standpoint then? And any other such starting points I should know. I am very new, haven't a clue where to even start because of this. So I definitely appreciate any direction. I need something like this to focus on in the face of depression. Thank you so much for your response and trying to encourage vs what I've received everywhere else man. Thank you. I hope I am not asking too much of you though. I figure if you don't know or can't help, you'll just say so. I have to try somewhere though or everything just stays the stale same.
