@SiennaSanter4 жыл бұрын
right? i always thought it was me bc none of my friends could relate but i think it’s actually pretty common! what’s helped me is knowing that around the afternoon time, especially if i’m on my own, haven’t worked out or interacted with people all day, and if i’ve spent a lot of time on technology, that i’ll start to feel that way and i can take steps to prepare myself. i’ll usually make a “happy list” of things i can do when i feel that way, like going outside and being in nature, exercising, talking to a friend, or doing something creative, and that usually helps ! but you don’t have to “fix” that feeling all the time too sometimes you’re just sad and down and that’s totally okay and you can allow yourself to feel that way
@clara87934 жыл бұрын
Sienna Santer i totally agree. acceptance is so important and as someone who has cyclothymic disorder it’s really important for me (and others of course!) to know that it is totally ok to be sad and everyone is like that sometimes even if it doesn’t seem that way. and i’m actually writing this in the late afternoon and I’m feeling a bit down so I’m gonna go on a run. the “happy list” is such a good idea I might steal that from you lol

So nice how the Korean government treats travelers. It's funny that you mentioned how fast Koreans speak Korean, I met some Koreans came to Vietnam they told me the same thing about how fast Vietnamese talk , and I would say the same thing with your talking speed. Sienna, I found your vlog when I learned that we could visit South Korea with a 14-day quarantine. We had planned to travel abroad last year but the pandemic prohibited that. Our daughter's birth sister is in Seoul. She has visited us twice. We would love to see her again, so I looked for airline tickets next summer. Then I read the quarantine details. I appreciate how well you're showing your experience with this. You've answered many of my questions about what the quarantine is like. Both my husband and I are in our seventies. Seeing your videos, I have to conclude that although I could handle this very well, my husband would most definitely not. So we'll hope for a shorter quarantine or a different destination. Angie M oh my goodness, where are you in quarantine for two weeks in a hotel like that? I was in quarantine in a hotel in the UK, and after I left, I ended up buying the stuff coffee and goodies for breakfast. I had some not so pleasant experiences, but a lot of it was just out of the stops control, and I also have a disability and was not being supported by any outsider organizations. I made a couple of videos during my quarantine two that are up on my channel. I speak many different languages, and some of the staff were from Greece, Arab speaking countries, Spain, etc. Had they not been around to talk to, I would have gone insane. I also took Arabic lessons every day. I had to order my food from places like restaurants delivering with Uber eats, and sometimes the drivers would arrive, not tell anyone they were at the lobby, and just go off and take my food, but I would still be charged. So it was a pretty anxiety inducing experience. I am visually impaired by the way, and I'm using dictation so I hope you can understand my posts.

Quick question: did you pay for your quarantine stay before booking your flight or did get the room on arrival?
@kykim63984 жыл бұрын
it depends on which city you're going to. Some you may have to pay, some are free. I know you have to pay beforehand in seoul, but when I went to suwon I didn't have to pay for a thing and everything and everyone was super nice.

@@kykim6398 I want to go to Seoul but I want to know do I have to pay for it at the hotel or reserve it while I’m out the country?

@@kykim6398 Hi I'm also supposed to go to Suwon some time next year. If I'm gonna be based in Suwon does that mean I will quarantine in Suwon as well or do they require you to quarantine in Seoul first before coming down to Suwon?
@kykim63983 жыл бұрын
@@edellevillarey6748 are u arriving thru incheon airport? Also do u have a place to stay in suwon? Like friends and family? Also I would recommend using a call van if u can get into contact. Sometimes they answer these questions and are pretty cheap getting u from the airport to the facility.

@@dopeboyz5076 ur probably going to be designated a facility so u pay for it when u get it Also I would recommend using a call van if u can get into contact. Sometimes they answer these questions and are pretty cheap getting u from the airport to the facility or hotel

The little yoghurt drink you talk about at 38:12 of your video is a probiotic .... helps with digestion and builds immunity

I have to quarantine (just for 24hrs while waiting for results) at a government facility next month. Going to South Korea to visit my husbands family. I wonder if the room will be like this 🤷🏻♀️? Kinda nervous about it lol

I want to visit Korea in October but the 14 day quarantine when you get there is at your own expense.

Well... yeah? Why should the government pay for tourists (or anyone) to stay in a hotel for 2 weeks just because they wanted to travel during the pandemic

yes I went to spend the summer living with friends I met during my study abroad at yonsei last year! it was a lot safer in korea and my parents and I wanted me to be living in a place that was handling the pandemic well instead of in the states. the plan was to get an internship in seoul and stay for a gap year but then I had a slight change of plans and ended up staying 3 months and then coming to london instead :) (for a reason that I will be announcing very soon!!)

I’m currently in a Seoul hotel for quarentine and the room Is half the size, super old and there’s no air conditioning or heat. It feels like a prison!!!!! Who did she have to call to get a normal hotel. This is false advertising. -__-
