The Ummayads are the dynasty that originally formed Andalusia. That event just puts them back in charge.

it makes no sense because the last known umayyad mysteriously "dissapeared" in the 11th century tho theres a dude from 16th century granada who called himself an ummayad and to this day the benjumea family descends from him
@SonoftheFortunate Жыл бұрын
@@jaif7327 Why does it make no sense? There was heavy political in-fighting and eventually Al-Andalus, just Iberian Peninsula became its own sovereign state.

@@SonoftheFortunate I think he meant that it makes no sense because the ummayads died out before 1444

@@Ami14120 yeah. it might make sense from the standpoint of claiming the legitimacy of being their successor in the same way everybody claimed to be roman but really wasn't roman. but since they aren't there, it makes no sense from that standpoint.

Quarbit, my friend, you can stack treasure fleet income far more than that. If the colony is crown colony, there is a subject interaction that gives 20% more treasure fleet income. That's not just for the gold of that colony, it's GLOBAL modifier. If you have 12 colonies with that, it's 240% increased treasure fleet income : ) If you take other countries colonial nations, you can go even beyond that. In my portugal game, i had more money than the one qing game were I exploited the debase currency / recruit banners trick.

here's a way i usually play the game, generic method start the game with the estate action, take every estate privilege that adds diplo, mil and admin powers, the rest of the estates are shaped up based on what you want and what benifits you, like the trade privileges (do not give any privileges over any type of resource unless you are really that down bad on money) do call diet and pick the one easiest to do or the one with lowest loyalty to you (you do not want war with them, and if it so happens that you are in desperate need to a point where you do want a war with em, do make sure to have the manpower and army to fight back) got the privileges down? good. now check the leader of your nation. is he dog shit? start looking for advisors in relation to your income. if it so happens that your income's shit,wait out on advisors unless you know they will make a positive change for you (like disciple in case you fight a hard war) income . income is trade, the majority of it really relies on trade soooooooo just fucking trade up whenever you get the chance , do that by merchants, do that by ideas, do that by taking up every valuable high value resource spot, do that by increasing the fleet to increase trade power and ofcourse any center of trade you have will almost always fucking improve your trade SIGNIFICANTLY so improve it when you can (later there are also buildings you can build that will also jack up your trade power, so do take them whenever possible) the monarchila powers (mil, diplo, adm) save them like a low middle class family saving pennies. choose anything that will add more to you and evade anything that will cost you them why? well you need it for your technology and ideas. a good strat is that you save up till max then immediately blow it as soon as it hits green coloring (they get consumed in wars, recruitment and what not, so be mindful when you are recruiting and using, them, take only of what you have alot of (close to max limit) and when you get to add to it through events and missions add to what you have little of so that you aint always lacking behind but , if its a war you are seeking, floor it on adding to military so that you get the extra mil tech, imagine you roll in with muskets on an enemy still using polearms. yeah. they are fucked. while you do that shit, comes the diplomacy. befriend only those who are useful to you (like Hungary and moskovy when fighting ottomans as mamluks), vassals are useful as land holders. and extra armies that serve you, they are best by "release nation" cus then they view you as a liberator, but beware, being weak makes a vassal rebellious, and giving them too much power also makes them turn like that , if they start being problematic , start being friendly to them , maybe feed them some cores to get that loyalty up and if they became loyal immediately annex them cus fuck them. it will hit your diplomatic relation but that can be negated over time (during the annex period your diplomatic power will be taken up to fund the annexation so it may not be the preferred method ) state edicts. you can improve trade, increase defense. increase missionary strength, increase institution spread etc etc etc etc, see what you have see what you need put it a common passive one i support is trade, cus.....money. if you have organizations in the state tab do add them if you can afford them, they are REALLY good when you apply them to a big field , and some are so fucking good even on a small field they are effective, depends on what you are playing as got all that down? war. many tactics in eu4 are shown in war in the grand scheme of things. favorite tactic? carpet conquest. split up main army into several small ones and take as much land as humanly possible , keep the big forces close to enemy land , away from it by at max 1 province, so when big enemy army arrives you can instantly reinforce and fight back there is a superior tactic i am absolutely yet to master like targeting when enemy armies are split up and deleting the stacks one by one to a point where the enemy army is weaker than yours despite them being absolutely bigger than yours at the start of the game i do it on a pseudo level exploiting forts and available armies. just dog walking enemies on fortifications sieges. yeah never use the fire cannon tactic unless walls are breached first by siege why? makes the siege go faster , you skip a whole ass level its fast especially by mid and late game stages where you have to knock fort after fort after fort cus the enemy is building the Maginot line every where (or fucking europe) in some cases although i do not suggest nor encourage you can also very well use rush attack on breached walls......i dont suggest that shit at fucking all, but feel free to do it if you do, as you saw in part 1 of this series spam consolidate forces whenever you can cus you dont wanna lose that (that manpower bleed is shit) generals. army tradition and army professionalism, get that by events , get that by missions, get that by recruiting and war. every combat contributes a small amount to army tradition, granted you fight alot to have it high mercenaries decrease your army professionalism by 5%. recruiting generals (even dogshit ones) increase it by 1% high professionalism = strong army (prussia for example) low professionalism= pray to god that your mercs are actually not a disappointment , it also affects training (really only train when you feel like it, there is no set time when to train, dont do it in war tho cus it deletes morale.....and i know you dont want that fighting mega stacks of 40 and 50k marching at you (or 150 and 200 by late game. such funny numbers) all that warring and taking land does aggressive expansion that needs you to focus on trade near these people, and improve relations or form strong allies to either tell them "fuck off" or "hey we chill" depending on approach cores.....yeah just do it man..... just fucking do it there aint no escape. the more you dont the more the whole nation will go apeshit by overextension its honestly very funny cultures.....meh they hurt you....if you dont accept them. i usually go for the "preserve all cultures" approach which may not be the best...but i like to think of myself as a preserver of civilization religion i do the same, there is a tolerance of heathens and heretics whenever they increase there is unity wish is very lovely....i usually target heretics for conversion and leave heathens..... but its anyone's game really, you can be all accepting. racist to one specific way of thinking (or multiple)....or you can be the spanish inquisition the rest falls in as assists and adds to these basics from reforms to options you can choose , some are unique like "form alandalus" "form arabia" "form egypt" hell even "form mamluks" really relies on WHAT you NEED or want depending on how far you are fucked, if not fucked you can think of wants lastly stability. high stability is good stability. very very very fixed rule, never deviate from that rule, prevents revolts, prevents disasters, and way more
@amenahmed672Ай бұрын
forgot to mention institutions....yeah you either let them spread normally (slow and will fuck you over cus people are stupid) oooor once it is at the allowed limit, floor whatever money you have to get it and start getting dat tech
