It’s one of the more recent Canadian volcanoes, one of its satellite lava domes (Silverthrone Mountain) is probably the highest-elevation volcano in Canada, and it’s responsible for a very major eruption. It also has glaciers partially filling the caldera.

Oh most certainly, the nations that the rebellions would release would be mostly weaker than the ones he had to beat to even get that far. The only issue is that due to the bankruptcy events he'd have to sit there for nearly 50 years in the game doing almost nothing xD

3:28 "The Sublime Porte" is a nickname for the Ottoman Government, like people say "The White House" when talking about the American Government or people say "Westminster" when talking about the British Government. I'm not sure when it came into common use in the Empire but I know that it lasted all the way till the end of the Ottoman Empire

I put a same comment before seeing yours. The name "sublime porte" was gaven by the ambassador of François 1st of France in 1536 or 1539 I frankly don't totaly remember and it's sayed in french cause it was the diplomatic language of this era. If I remember well the ambassador who gave/traduce this name from the ottoman tongue was Jean Frangipani. If I remember well in old ottoman it's called "the high door"

Sublime Porte = name of the administration of the Ottoman Empire, in Topkapı palace there was a doors only the officials could pass through, it was called the Sublime Porte (in english the sublim/magnificent door). By extension the ottoman's governement was called the Sublime Porte. Like today The White House is used for US government or the Elysée for the french one.

There shouldn't be any achievements that require literal nation-ruining with literally no possibility of fixing your nation afterwards. Like, at least the 'KHAAAAAAAAAAAAN' achievement is obtainable in a stable run. I think 55 years is a reasonable time constraint, if you were the fucking Rashiduns or Umayyads in the 7th century. Anyways, I really hope that in EU5 they make a complete overhaul to the AE, overextension and war score mechanics.
