Yup that was a nice little walk I've never been to Quartzsite, I think you need an atv and train Zen to ride along.

Those holes are made by Desert squirrels, and rattle snakes us them to cool off in the summer and the mound by the ant's hills are actually made out of the dirt you are walking on as they build there underground house.

I look for ant beds at every campsite and park far away. One time at a campsite in the forest the next morning I woke up with ants all over me and my truck. Not fun. All it takes is one to find something and he brings his friends over.
