When you leave Lefty, do you leave him a toy or bone to chew on while you’re away? That’s a pretty nice dash cam front looking and backwards looking. The one I have clips on your rearview mirror and the screen is the whole width of what your rearview mirror would be. It’s great for nighttime driving because that camera is so sensitive. It’s like having extra light bars.

@@HBuski_USMC $50 will give you wifi (Internet service) and Voice Over Internet Protocall ( if your phone has that option) in areas with NO cell service or wifi at all. You will be limited to 50 Gb of data. If you go over that amount you will be charged $1 per GB. You have no contract, so you can start and stop your service at your convenience. David pays more because he needs more data per month to upload to YT. It's cheaper for him to pay $165 per month than to pay the $1 per GB for the $50 plan.

The inside mirror on my class c is worthless. Told them to remove it when they install the cams. Some states won’t allow cams blow the mirror. Some have discovered that you can just put the Mini on the dash and hit the road

I think the Mini runs on 20V Power Delivery off of USB C. Check the AC adapter to see what it outputs. So, 12V may not work.

Large Starlink (generation 3 like the mini unit) dish runs off of a AC brick the converts that to ~56V DC so you can easily run it via POE.

I tried to use your code, but because I already have a Starlink it wouldn't let me. I did order a mini though. I wanted one before, but it required you to already have a starlink disk at the time. Thanks for trying. I have the tilting version, but I don;t like that I have to set it out to use it all time. You have tor retract it before you can store it away also. I heard from people who just put in on their dash and it work fine. I just hope it arrive here before I want to leave for Texas. The mini uses less power too and I can always update the power to 12 volts when I'm ready. The also have a roof mount. I'll probably be getting that. If you know somebody who is looking for a starlink dish I will probably be selling my old one.

David when I lay my mini on the hood of my van it specifically says the tilt is wrong. In other words in cannot be flat. It needs to be on that angle of the bracket that comes with it. Also you cannot always have your rig facing North and thats the way it needs to face. Try it out before you permanently mount. Like I said I placed on van it was wrong andle but on the ground it worked perfect.

I've run mine with it laying flat. It does want the tilt (for rain and snow) but it still worked ok.
