That's a good move, as you can see, quite a few people didn't like it. Also, great move on the new graphics engine, it's a big improvement. Also - please think about improving drop rates for medical supplies. In Quasimorphosis it felt like you could get injured and not have any supplies.

Alright, I got the game before watching this video because I thought it looked cool, and it is! But, it is so difficult and desperately needs a tutorial, like how to use grenades, and the fact that you have different movement styles. Also the difficulty ramps up so quickly and sometimes you don't even get any new and better supplies before you have killed everyone on the first level and you proceed to the demon. But overall a fun game, just a bit too difficult, also would love to be able to extract before completing the mission. Just thoughts and opinions, you can completely ignore me.

The game is fantastic. But is there a way to disable chromatic aberration effect completely? Currently, you are using it inside of menus, and also for the fog-of-war effect. Trust me, it adds nothing to the game, and it is headache inducing.

About the food, he just picked a class with a perk that make you more hungry the more weight you have, so it's natural that he is hungry every few steps with all the stuff he is carrying.

It is even better with the 1 minute or so build up to it from "That guy had a really big gun. Can I have it? I'll take it. Anything's better than my stupid little pistol." through "The legacy heavy machine gun! We gotta give this thing a spin, man." to finally the moment with the minigun. Reminded me of Butch in Pulp Fiction going from a hammer through baseball bat and chainsaw finally to the katana. 😆

Honestly I really like the change. This version of the game looks super good and fun, also challenging. I do like the time to kill, makes it feel more intense and realistic. Just modify the starvation a bit and I am sold. Glad you covered this splat.

7:00 You're absolutely correct in that. When I worked ammo in the Air Force, we had this insufferable prick of a sergeant who claimed to be an army ranger before he cross-trained to Air Force and ammo in particular. You'd think that someone who used to be a fraggin' ranger would have no issues dropping a deuce behind a bolder and using chem wipes to wipe if it got that desparate... I had to drive him around on a secluded mountain that has almost no one up there, not even cameras (at the time) to inventory some of the reaaally explosive stuff we couldn't store down in our facility. He all of a sudden got antsy and kept having me pull by an area of the mountain that wasn't secluded and had personnel that IDK wtf they were doing but I knew that knowing what they were doing would involve a clearance with specifics to know what they were doing. I asked him wtf was wrong because he started to rush inventory check and kept prompting me to drive faster (yeah, I'm not speeding in a government vehicle, especially not on base under any circumstance). It turned out he needed to shit. So, I'm from the country and deep in the woods originally and was part of scouts growing up. To me it was simple, we're in a wasteland with a lot of cover and we have chem wipes, grab the chem wipes, find a bolder to squat behind and do your doody. So, I pulled over at a spot that would be appropriate, he wouldn't get out... and that's when I started to question his claims of being a ranger. I mean, I suspected he wasn't from the very first time he claimed that, but, this was a hard "Yeah, this dude is full of shit" moment... granted, I look back on the fact that I thought that and realize that he literally was full of shit lol. So, we get done with inventory check and start going back to the bomb dump, and, as we're on this stretch of road that's heavily monitored and only to be used for transporting explosives, he tells me to floor it and I tell him hell the fuck no I won't floor it on this heavily monitored area of the base with some explosives in the bed of the truck, to which point he claims I can "go 5 over the speed limit and not get in trouble", yeah, no, shit your pants for all I care, IDGAF that he outranked me, this was a moment where rank didn't matter and I sure as hell wasn't going to get my ass in trouble because he was too much a pansy to take a shit in desert mountain wasteland. So, I kept driving as normal. We get to the backshop and I park... He yells at me to part right by the door, which, then, again, especially now that we're in range of everyone else and the cameras for the shop I say "No, we have explosives in the bed, this is where I'm parking, it's only an extra 10 feet, hoof it yourself." He at that point claimed he was going to write me up and all I could think is "Yeah, you do that and see what my response on that write up is." He started to waddle out of the truck and into the backshop. At that time I thought he was just pinching it off or clenching or something. A week later it came time to throw the trash for the restroom out (it was a big bin and we didn't usually use it that often, otherwise it'd have been weekly like the rest of clean up) during that period of time we started to smell shit despite the toilet bowl being squeaky clean, but, I'd forgotten about the shit incident and we figured it was one of the other sergeants who had this fixation on eating barbecue for the Atkins diet or something because he could tear up the restroom in smell alone. We thought this until that moment someone had to take the trash out of that bathroom and up against the inside of the bag, clear as day were some shitty drawers... that's when I realized that the only person it could've been was that sergeant I drove the week prior. We were a small shop, and, knew each other well enough to tell if someone was lying or not given that, on the occasion where there was absolutely nothing left to do, we'd play some rounds of poker and stuff like that (no money bet, just friendly or betting duties/chores etc)... We all realized that we weren't the owners of those drawers... I remember the incident regarding the sergeant from the week prior, and let them know that. From that moment, and until I left that bomb dump a few years later, from that point on, that sergeant was to be addressed as "Sergeant Shit Stains". This nickname spread across the whole bomb dump lol.

The kicker is that nickname would've been short lived if he wasn't such an insufferable prick. We also got confimation from his wife after she broke up with him that he was never, in fact, a ranger in the army, but, was army personnel, although, by the point they got that confirmation, I was talking to a co-worker who was cross-training into sheet metal from the Army and still had all his stuff from being an Army Ranger, and after I told him a bit about that sarge, he outright said "I can guarantee you that dickbag was never an Army Ranger because dickbags like him wouldn't last long in the Rangers." I was prone to believe him not just because it was convenient, but, given the training squadron I was in in basic training and how they flagrantly violated regs to have a more "traditional military training experience" I could see that being the case very easily since that's how my training squadron was run (the chain of command for my training squadron had special forces who cross-trained from special forces to training instructors... one of them was an ex para-rescue instructor, another was ex SERE instructor, to this day I have no idea who thought it'd be a good idea to have either as leaders in a basic training squadron).

This seems like a pre-build of that old DOS game, Syndicate. It had real time combat, but the setting and loadout process was fairly similar. You had a squad of up to four, with few keyboard shortcuts, but it was pretty fun. It also was in the 'extractor'-type with out of map gameplay in upgrading and planning.

You were right, the hunger system either needs to be redone and improved or chuck it in the garbage cause that can be a deal breaker. I dont mind hard games, having to scrounge for ammo and armor or weapons to use, but starving to death with every step? Nah you can keep that.

I wanna see a doom like sci-fi Daemons vs humans/aliens game but it plays like Monsters Domain too. Like imagine how sick it would be to play as Daemons starting to invade a world starting at a huge mega corporation complex that was testing portal technology and even throw in artifacts that could make the invasion run smoother once your legions capture them and eventually once things get too out of control then governments and other companies start getting involved to try to slow your legions down. Being able to possess and control other Daemons and even straight up possess a worker, scientist, or marine and turn them into a zombie on the spot mid firefight striking fear into the enemy would be badass af ngl. 💜🔥😈🔥🖤

Hell is Others also got a new Singleplayer Mode, so it seems that this is getting more attention recently in extraction shooters. Maybe you wanna take a look again into this game too in the future ;) The best hard PvP extraction shooter next to Tarkov right now is Marauders, but it's in Early Access. Still have alot of fun with it :)

This is what turn based combat should be like in EVERY TURN BASED GAME. Just like Underrail and Fallout 1/2 the turn based is seamless. You walk around get in combat leave combat. There is no big announcements on the screen saying COMBAT STARTED then a bunch of gay shit spinning on the screen and combat starts with the screen completely cluttered with enemy icons. announcements like ENEMY TURN. YOUR TURN and all that useless shit that turn based games seem to have nowadays

You can tell the game devs aren't too familiar with firearms, looking at that kriss. "Single" and "semi auto" are the same thing, when in game it appears the game fires a burst when in semi auto.
