When this song came out, a lot of people thought that this was an RnB band. It's easy to see why....the bass line, the vocals, drums all sound pretty funky. Nope, they were a rock band from the UK, just being one of the most versatile acts in music. Great review, and I'm glad that you liked this song!

You should see the video of Queen live at the Live Aid concert at Wembley. It's widely regarded as the greatest live concert ever. 25 minutes, and Freddie had the audience completely under his spell. Other than that, "Radio Gaga" is probably the next Queen song to hear.

:-D Yes, that's Queen. Early 80's so their long hair from the 70's is gone and a mustasch have entered Freddies face. Freddie had 4 extra teeth in his mouth and the mustasch helped him to hide them. You have probably heard a lot of their songs without realize it was them. I bet you've have heard We will rock you and We are the champions. Queen’s bass player (John Deacon) wrote this song. Queen wasn’t gonna release until Michael Jackson encouraged them to do so. Told Queen it would be a big hit. Btw, MJ was a big fan of Queen & would go to concerts when Queen was in town. You should do this song live at Wembley 1986. It’s fabulous!! Yes, and he never got permission for Ride the Bus but eventually Queen said they enjoyed it and gave their blessing. Al said he always asks permission so as not to “make enemies” in the industry and rarely does he release w/o permission. Coolio eventually made peace with him and admitted his parody was funny.
