Thank you very much for posting these. I grew up watching most of these guys run the ARTGO series in the Rockford region. This was the era I started watching and still think is the best (late 80s early 90s). This brings back so many good memories from my childhood.

Queen City speedway was one of THE tracks that guys cut there teeth to the short track game. Such a underrated facility.

The home track I never saw. Born/raised in Cincinnati... Born in 1988, and QCS closed at the end of 1987.

What Bobby Dotter told all who interviewed him through the years…”i have a great car, it practically drives itself, the car is as good as anyones” etc. what he didnt tell us…we cant afford all of the new tires it takes to finish the race. The Marcis/Means school of communication lol.
