For me it's Innuendo from 1991. 20 years into their career, with the vocalist literally dying, with 80s behind them with those cheesy songs, they made a rock masterpiece. A perfect album from start to finish. 🙂👍

Innuendo is awesome but I don’t know if I’d put it underrated. It had a lot of big hits on it like These are the Days and Show Must Go on. One of Queen’s most criminally underrated songs though is All God’s People on it. It goes back to their older style and sounds like it should be on Opera or Races.

@@BlackTerror Yes, maybe you're right, it's not that underrated after all. But seeing peoples album rankings it's always rarely in top 5. Or maybe I look at the wrong album rankings? 🤣 Queen 1 and 2 are good records but Queen has never been one of my top 10 bands. Innuendo is my fave, Races at no. 2, I also like Greatest Hits 3, with guest vocalists David Bowie, Elton John, George Michael, Wyclef Jean, Monserrat Caballe.......

I think it’s their best album. Liar. Keep Yourself Alive. Great King Rat. Son and Daughter. When the Night Comes Down. Hard to beat. I got into Queen late 1990. Senior year in HS. The Many friends and hell even frenimies 😂 were surprised how heavy this band was. Everyone thought they were only about Another One Bites and We Will Rock You. Even Bohemian back then was a hidden classic this was 2 yrs prior to Wayne’s World. Dont get me wrong I like all the seventies Queen. However this album takes the prize for me still. The band still closer to Sabbath or Zep than opera. And the ghey club music tendencies Freddie wanted to explore later on. It’s an out there on an island album In their discography for sure.

The first two Queen albums don't have their biggest or greatest hits but those two albums top to bottom are the best overall albums. Top to bottom no filler, no misteps and nothing to skip. You can listen to it all the way through more so than anything else they did probably because it all the songs they worked on the longest while forming the band. Queen 1 sounds so radically different I was shocked when I first heard it and loved it because it surprised me so much. Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, and Judas Priest's first albums are like that too.

Yeah once you get to Sheer Heart Attack. The bad trend of skippable songs begin. Never was a fan of Killer Queen. NATO had Good Company and You’re my Best Friend another big hit I never cared for. ADATR w/Somebody to Love another worldwide loved song I’ve Never seen why 👎🏻. And the last 2 seventies albums has up To 3 skippable tracks I see Where you’re getting at with the First 2 Albums as their best one for damn sure👍🏻

@@Mike-aka747 Wow, you don’t like somebody to love? Controversial take but I respect those! I was never into Pink Floyd’s Wish You We’re Here. I do suggest checking out Freddie singing it live in 82 at the bowl video to possibly change your mind. His intro almost brings a tear to my eye.

@@BlackTerror Nah. Infact I really don’t like many of their hit songs Tbph. And as far as albums go after the seventies. It’s only a half like/half dislike affair. They aren’t very good. Any of them. Certainly no complete albums no way no how. Agree w/ your take on Floyd. Never was a big fan of them. I only own 5 Floyd albums now. Piper Saucerful Obscured Meddle Animals I’m happy w/ that lineup. The others I can live without now.

I agree with you once again. If you watch Queen ranking videos most actually rank Queen 2 ahead of the debut. Some even put Queen 2 at number one. Now don’t get me wrong, I like Queen 2, but this is the better album in my opinion

I made a worst to best video and had them at 1&2 at the top myself. I think what I like more about their debut over their second album is that on Side 1 of Queen 2 I might skip a song or two, but side 2 is amazing. Queen 1 is more equal and starts out with a banger.

@@BlackTerror I think objectively A Night At The Opera is their best though.

@@JCStorm76Can’t argue with that! Very worthy. Two albums I disqualified in my worst to best for not being studio albums that are absolute favorites were Classic Queen and Live at Wembley.
