This gorgeous song was penned by Freddie & this performance is raw & vulnerable. The song hadn’t even been recorded yet! Freddie wrote the song for his love interest & invited them to the concert so he could sing it to them!! I think Freddie looked a little nervous but determined. But can you imagine Freddie singing this to you?? Everybody imagined it! 💕🎶💕🎶💕 🥰🥰

Freddie Mercury loved life and people so much. That's why when you hear his music it exactly grabs your heart and holds on tight. ❤❤❤❤

A very "breathy" Freddie, during his earlier era when he sang his high notes with an exquisite "head" voice, as opposed to powerfully belting them out from his chest, which characterized his live singing style from ~1980 onwards

Freddie had the balls to play a love song at a rock concert, and that nobody know. The song wasn’t even recorded yet. Over 100.000 audience, at a free concert. And he shut up that audience with such a beautiful live song. The man is sure a legend!! Immortal.

The most beautiful and touching song Queen ever made. Your reaction was natural. Anyone would feel that way. You are so bang on point regarding this song somehow working during a heartbreak moment. In fact, I feel this song even more because there was a heartbreaking incident that happened recently and those lyrics are really close to what I was feeling and still feeling... with the hope that through the passage of time, the one I love dearly would realise it and come back to me. Anyway, for all those who have been in such moments and reading this, I wish you strength and courage. Try to somehow cheer yourself up and surely, there will be better days. Find creative ways to express your feelings through songs, writing, etc. It will make you feel a little better.

This to me is a song about new love. Falling in love is easy. It's chemical. Hormones flood your body. Long term love is a daily, continual decision / choice. Love ebbs & flows over time. It means accepting each others faults & flaws. Working through times when you almost can't stand the sight of one another. Working to reconnect, & remember. What about the other person. Made you fall in love. In the first place. Getting through hard times. Emerging stronger. With a deeper connection, & understanding. Romance pales in comparison. That said. Most people confuse romance, & actual love. I have been with my love for almost nineteen years now. It has been as natural as breathing, & the hardest thing. I have ever done. Beautiful, sad. Joyous, & ugly. As well as everything in between. It is an agreement. To go through life / Face whatever life dishes out. Together.

This is Freddie's most spellbinding few minutes on stage. The electricity vulnerability voice and musicianship break the needle on the guage. As a vehicle for poetically conveying the highs and lows of human love it would be hard to find anything its equal.

(The FASTEST 20 minutes you'll ever experience.)😇 BTW, re Queen/Live Aid... There is an EXTRA song at the end, that folks usually overlook/don't know about: "Is This The World We Created", an acoustic song that Freddie & Brian performed later as part of the evening's closing performances.🖖

Wonderful reaction video! You asked at 3:21 - "Have you ever loved someone that much?" Yes. I have. I still do. She developed long Covid in 2021 - and developed severe complications that nearly took her life a year ago. She's lost a significant portion of her memory and only vaguely remembers me - and she does not remember our relationship. We are now living in separate states and are physically separated. Due to additional extenuating circumstances, I have not seen her - and I haven't heard her beautiful voice -- in over a year. This past summer we were communicating (texts and photos) and there appeared to be encouraging signs that we were rekindling our relationship, but everything just stopped toward the end of summer. The pain of being apart from her is beyond excruciating, given we had shared and gone through and done SO much together, both before she got sick and while she was sick. As Freddie sang - I would indeed trade my life for just one (more) kiss from her - or for even just once more chance to again say to her - "I love you". 😞💔😢

With Freddie its ok to get mushy. His singing and the feeling he puts into his songs is mesmerizing. Every woman hopes for the person who feels that way about you. How could anyone resist Freddie's gift of being so genuinely heartfelt. If you haven't heard it yet another song that gives you this feeling from Freddie is his son'g called Love of my Life. If you watch his rockin rio concert you will see the largest crowd in history at that time showing Freddie the love and he was not only amazed by what they did. It was not an English speaking crowd. Let that soak in when you see what they did for him. He didn't know if they understood what he was saying.
