They never lost their colors. Freddie will never be forgotten; the same with Queen because their music is timeless. Almost 30 years after his death, he's still the best singer in the entire world. What did we do to deserve such a man? The world wasn't simply ready for Freddie, probably would've been. He was still, alive at the best period of time for music, but not when it comes to homophobia and the medication for aids. Imagine if he had lived a couple more months and gotten the treatment. So yes, he was aware he was the only one to blame because his friends had warned him to stop living like this. But the thing is, you never think something is really that bad before it happens to you... And the same goes for him. He didn't understand how bad it would be before it happened to him. The gay community was toxic at that time because no one accepted them. In the end, his private life was his own and no one should judge it. It's not like he said to people : My way of living is right, you should do the same ! No, he was a private person and journalists were always bothering him. What should we remember about Freddie : He was a true artist, a wonderful singer, a really nice person who cared about others, who was humble and didn't have a big ego. That is what truly matters ! I don't believe in God, in heaven and all the blablabla, so it's important to keep him alive in our own ways.

I read that in Freddie's final months, he asked his band mates to "just find me stuff to sing". I'll sing anything just to keep moving to keep singing. Sadly he had already lost a lot of his voice, the range and some of his "operatic sections" were gone by now but he still had a beautiful voice. There will never be another Freddie Mercury. Not ever. This song is probably one of the greatest tracks of all time and I feel it's slept on a little bit. The composition is incredible when you break it down. The drums are pretty monotonous, the march of life. But then Freddie's voice is adding to that but there are cracks of the madness slipping through. Then you've got the synthesizers and guitar work that's almost haunting, if that makes sense. Put it all together and you've got such an incredible piece of music. It's just incredible!

Freddie knew that he was going to die eventually but he just wanted to live life as if he wasn't sick as much as possible until he couldn't. Who else sees three different Freddies? The one in the beginning of the band, who was very ambitious and very excited to be the star of his dreams. The second, (mustache Freddie) was very strong and just overall the person he wanted to be, but still questioning how long the band would be together, not finding a true happiness yet with Brian and Roger and John. The third Freddie who was at his deathbed, found happiness in the band at the end and knew that they were his family, caring for and about him. Look at three different pictures of freddie and tell me if I'm right or wrong. This video alone illustrates Freddie’s amazing sense of humor and whimsy what the movie completely ignored. Rami’s performance was great. But the writers made him so serious and emphasized him being a diva they completely glossed over how funny he was.

I could always tell that Freddie had a great sense of humor. It is there when mistakes happen, like his mike stand broke. He just kept using it in the broken state during that show. It was funny. After that it became a mike, a prop, a guitar fretboard, etc. It was part of his show. And when he first comes out and says "hey hey hey hey" it is him laughing at himself before he goes into his stage persona. I wish I had seen one of his concerts in person. Warmth exuded from Freddie. Such big hearted kindness on stage. I think after joining the band, John Deacon became very fond of Freddie. When Freddie died, he just could not continue being part of Queen after the funeral and tributes were over. Introverts are very loyal. I just read that in Psychology Today yesterday.

Exact... That's why I hated this movie... I was soooo disappointed.... Where's the funny Freddie???? His tenderness? His generosity? Freddie was not that depressed!!! He was always joking and having fun... Even if he faced bad situations, he was not a unkind diva... Really, I don't recognize Freddie in the movie...
