Taken from the Promised Land CDRom, Two Mile High was a unreleased song and video that was rewarded to you after completion of the game.

God these guys are great. The greatest musicians with the greatest singer in and of all music. I have seen them many times and in consecutive nights and always left with my ears ringing and my mouth open. Back in 1983 I told my brother this band is on a whole new wavelength. Thanks Queensryche & GT!!

Oh my God! This song enchants me! If my ears did not deceive me, I felt a little bit of the Beatles song.They are wonderful! Geoff really is THE ONE!!! This training Queensryche was simply perfect! To me, that is the one already existed. I really miss them. I wanted to cry when you see something so beautiful as well. This formation today, with La Torre, without Geoff and DeGarmo, unfortunately, is a cheap imitation of our beloved Ryche. Thanks for sharing. You made my day be happier.

+Val Faria The Chris DeGarmo era is something very special. We all know it. With that said, I couldn't disagree (respectfully) more regarding the current lineup being a "cheap imitation". Tate was responsible for the decline in quality after Promised Land. He was also the primary reason our beloved DeGarmo quit the band...twice. Firing Tate was required for the long term survival of QR. Their 2013 self-titled album, production issues aside, was easily their best album in 19 years. Their new album is much better, so I'm told. I've only heard the two singles thus far.

Val Faria. I totally agree with you, this song is just beautiful sounding. The magic or chemistry Geoff and Chris had together when writing songs was unmatchable in this band IMO.

I remember being able to get to the game files on the CD-ROM and being able to see this video without having to play through the game. I learned it from someone on AOL back in the day. I've since forgotten how to do so. I still have the game. Those were good days...

Once upon a time, Geoff was actually contributing to the Queensryche legacy in a helpful and respectful way. Hard to believe its the same man in 2012 who pissed his voice away, assaulted his band brothers AND tried to sell off the rights to Operation: Mindcrime for a personal profit without so much as a mention to people he had been playing 20+ years with. We miss you 1994 Geoff.

Hi. That assault happened in a Brazil gig in 2012 (where he spat on Scott's face) and not in 2014

i would be really surprized if parker had any part in this. not saying he didnt but highly unlikely. this song has a chris degramo style to it as well as some if not all his lyric writting.. another gem they did. why they never released it on to a record is beyond me..a very underrated song

@j800r Hey this was a buddy of mine whom meant no harm. We all grew up together in Port Townsend. . . he showed me this comment and asked to write. Parker is actually featured on that tune: he wrote it, and played all the guitars. No offense intended to the QR guys, in fact the kid who posted and I have met them all, including Degarmo. I'm the singer. We're all fans of QR here, so no need for a feud.

This is from the game and the end
@grendelsan11 жыл бұрын
Surely, Brett, you're not trying to say that Parker Lundgren wrote all the guitar parts and played them for Two Mile High, right? You're talking about "Don't Wake Me Up," right?
@einarabelc514 жыл бұрын
Funny the guitar solo is overdubbed on the acustic solo.
@brettdavidpemberton11 жыл бұрын
Obviously the comment had no intention of offending Degarmo. It was just a young kid, expressing his excitement over one of Parker's side-projects.
@brettdavidpemberton11 жыл бұрын
I was responding to a song called "Don't wake me up," not this song. The original comment was removed. Parker Lundgren wrote the guitar parts. It's on iTunes under his name. Is that proof enough?

@brettdavidpemberton11 жыл бұрын
And of course, I'm not Geoff Tate. That was never implied. You simply failed to understand the comments before replying. I am the singer of the project the young kid was apparently "spamming" about. All he was doing was sharing his excitement for the project.
