I loved this. I'm always curious about other people's skate setups. I'm a new rollerskater and I mostly do outdoor (around the park) or rink skating. I have Moonlight Rollers (LOVE) with the stock plate, cloud toe stops from One Stop Skate Shop, Moxi Fundae wheels, a toe cover I got from Moonlight Roller but I think it's also from One Stop Skate Shop, and derby laces. Someday I will have Jack boots and a fancy park setup!

Gosh I loved this so much, I'm such a skate setup nerd. I love researching and learning about skate setups! My most recent setup is black Moxi Jack 1 with white laces, avanti mag plates, 3" purple XOXO trucks, violet brake petals, white rollerbone bowl bombers, bones reds, and CIB sliders but I just ordered white bigfoot bloxxx because they are also my fav! I also have Lilac Lollys with purple derby laces, purple sunnlite plates, huckleberry bigfoot bloxxx, and purple fundae wheels.

Love seeing everyones setups! Usually i have ALL THE THINGS on my skates but lately its been pretty boring. A strawberry moxi lolly with the stock plate, cotton candy lumious wheels, rose gold nuts, beagle bearings and rainbow mirage derby laces.

This was a great video! I loved seeing some of my favorite skaters' setups, esp you and Shove! These are some of my fave vids on this channel. My skate setups are below: -park set-up: Moxi Panthers with the Penny 3" wide trucks, cib grind blocks, alternating pink+purple fundae wheels, b+w checkered heart stopper (short) from grindstone, leopard print laces + leopard print toe covers + leopard print bat wing accessories from an online Etsy shop I can't remember. It's been an ace setup for the year or so I've had it. The boots are sturdy. I am going to upgrade the wheels. I'm currently on the smaller size (57 mm I think?) and I've decided it's a bit too short and I'd like the larger(62 mm, I think?) size. -Backup Park set-up: periwinkle beach bunnies with the estro-jen bowl bombers in every color, wild bone grind blocks, purple moxi flower toe stops, waxed striped laces in purple/silver from skate warehouse, and moxi toe covers in the orange creamcicle color. I love these for wherever I'm trying new things at my local park. They were my first pair of park skates and we've been through a lot, but they're still holding up pretty well. I like the longer wheel base specifically, it helps immensely with regard to balance etc when I'm learning a new trick. -street set-up: Chaya Barbie Patins in pink, everything stock. I absolutely love them for skating around downtown. They are perfect for cruising, jumping, grinding, spinning, whatever-across most surfaces. -indoor dance set-up: Cosmic purple Moonlight Rollers with waxed glitter laces in turquoise+purple from skate warehouse, pink jam plugs from fritzys, alternating Jade and purple Haze glitter luminous wheels and a turquoise leather toe stop on one skate w/ a purple on the other. I have a few patches/lace charms (space themed) as well as having the trucks loosened a fair amount for agility. They're so much fun to skate in that I never want to take them off. I am looking at new plates to throw on them though, since I'm not the biggest fan of the stock one. All around indoor/outdoor set-up: Moxi lolly in tangerine. Soo this is embarrassing, but I had a bunch of cute stuff ordered to put on these in orange and pink (like wheels/laces/wings etc), but then I put on the stock setup out of the box and haven't changed anything out yet 😂. I love the gummi wheels on pavement soooo much, they're so fun and bouncy. I can skate for hours in this setup and the only issue I ever had was bleeding dye from sweat in the beginning. If I'd thought about suede at all, I would have treated them first, but you live you learn, right? I have other skate setups I switch between sometimes (mostly my beginner skates though--Beach Bunnies, Impalas, Suregrips) but the above are my current preferred models. Next summer I think I'm going to upgrade my park set-up to moxi Jacks with either sunlight or Avanti neo plates, but I want to get the most from my Panthers this summer before retiring them.

If you show your skates to a cobbler they can make custom toe covers for you out of leather or something similar material for around $20

My first pair of skates were the pink and teal Rio Rollers. I actually painted them black and added custom Nightmare Before Christmas themed toe guards, got a black toe stop, not sure what company and threw on a new set of black outdoor wheels. (again not sure the company lol) but they're so smooth outdoors. This video definitely taught me to pay attention to brands so I know for future setups. And all this I did while waiting for my Moxi leopard print beach bunny's to arrive. Now I have 2 pairs which is awesome.

My brand new park set up is the Moxi Jack 1 in Taffy with Estrojen Bowl Bombers, What! Trucks, purple Sunlight plate, yellow Moxi Brake Petals, Taffy Protectoe, CIB slide block, and blue Spark laces. I’m stoked on it though have only been able to skate in them a couple times so far. Still breaking in.

I think I’ve watched this video about 10 times by now 😅 I’m still a beginner so I ride my skates pretty much in their stock set ups but I love learning about skate parts. 🤓 When I first watched the video, I had no idea what people were talking about. My street/park set up is the Moxi Lolly in pool blue with Fundae wheels (pink on one skate, purple on the other), Moxi rainbow laces, Disco slide block, and purple Moxi Brake Petals. Stock plate and trucks. Blue toe cap that I took off a pair of Moxi Beach Bunnies.

This is actually great video. Everyone that is looking to pick up Park Skating needs some real people setups. It's really frustrating finding the right skate but then does the slide block fits, can you get the wheels... this helps thanks.
