I would not discount Isha too quickly. I suspect she may yet have a role to play in the Star Childs apotheosis. I do not believe the Emperor will rise from the golden throne, but he will indeed rise. I've suspected that 40k may be in for its own "AoS" event. The Emperor sits upon his golden throne upon Terra, while the God-Emperor sits upon his throne in the Warp, sending forth his angels.

Considering Guiliman burned down Nurgle's garden, I wonder what has become of Isha? Does this mean she has an ability to escape now or be rescued? The Aeldari God of Death is rising so if their Goddess of life and fertility returns, it could greatly aid the Eldar race or at least so something to give them a better chance, maybe find a way to free them from Slaanesh' curse? I'm a Dark Angel (descendant chapter) player but I do like the So far and they are going to be important allies in the current setting. Now what I want to know is, does Russ know if Valdor's City of Dust and if they are in active co-operation?

Leman received a vision about it, nobody said he had to have had this vision from the Emperor within the linear timeline, we know he's a psychic anchor in the warp now so he has the ability to stretch backward in time to act.

A part of me still hopes the Emperor gave the part of himself to The Watchers in the Dark as they could protect it better than any other beings and that The Star Child is a byproduct of all the lost and dead perpetuals merging together to create a great and powerful being. The Grimdark part will be that Russ will have to choose between a star child he has raised and his re-integrated father leading to one of them becoming The Dark King.

I’ve said before about Russ seeing the burning of the realm of nurgle , with Ragnar black and loosing the spear of Russ in his series it shows Russ will find the spear well the spear will find him as it’s connected to him and found him many times when he lost it in purpose it would find its way back . Maybe Russ gets his spear then will try to find the emperors souls . Makes sense it would maybe in the warp growing on emotion ? Who knows .

I think that to fulfill what Russ said and to tie in his return, I think he has been guarding the star child as it grows. But, as a incorporeal being it still needs a body. Russ is that body. When the time has come for the great conclusion of the war against Chaos, the star child will become one with Russ' body taking it over. Russ accepts this probably. And thus the Emperor is "reborn" in two bodies. Russ and his original body on the throne. I can see this happening as an End Times scenario for 40k

Thinking that russ found the shard of the emperor and gave it up valise who using an army of pariahs to keep it safe in the pocket dimension while russ finds the tree of life to help the shard grow to maturity, then russ Valdor and the shard will return to terra , russ will rejoin the space wolves the shard will heal the emperor while cal for and his army of blanks will assault the webway again meaning the healed emperor can’t leave the throne as he needs to hold the portal against daemons that valdor is fighting in the webway .

I do agree with you both, however this is GW we are talking about, they are more than capable of dangling a carrot and then changing the carrot at some later date to suit the current rhetoric. So I am just reading between the lines a wee bit here. I mean that child will be 10,000 years old ish now. I know warp shenanigans might mean he's not in real age terms but still I struggle to see it as a child.

I don’t believe it wouldn’t be right if the enoeror shouldn’t be able to leave the golden throne . What’s all this for if not to make his apotheosis into a god does a god only sit in its throne ? As a new did when united with his shattered soul he should be able to walk amongst those who made him a god . Having a rigid story and never evolving it is boring as hell . I want stories of the emperor in the imperium . Just seems a waste of all these stores to keep him on it . He fought a god in Horus himself and paid his price . why not seems a tad wasteful tbh

First point grammer. Second point is it ends 40k. The whole point is grimdark, having Big E get up from the throne with no consequences and leading the Imperium again means Humanity wins and thats it story over. Everything after that is a giant imperial circle jerk unless he is in quick order put back on the throne after dealing with some mega threat.
