I couldn't afford to keep my job due to no breaks on the truck and I worked for a construction company that traveled a lot! So I stayed out the season and my boss was cool with that! I had enough saved up and enough timber to run my frick saw mill to rebuild me a house while I stayed in the mini cabin! I had enough seed to plant more than a acre I hunt fished and trapped in the meantime! I lived deep in the mountains! So no help no resources to get help! I farmed and I rebuilt buy winter came I had a cellar full of food already and a fresh water spring out back! I survived and did well I didn't even buy gas for the truck! Look up woodgassifier truck! Spectrum supply sells Lennox woodmizer blades. My blades are $24 for a bit over a 15' blade. $24 for that small blade is to much.

Jason at Homesteading Northern Michigan does sharpen his blades. He just put out a video showing how to change them and he mentioned that he reuses them when he runs out of new ones.
