The universe is filled with hostile planets and normally we dont consider earth one, but it really is hostile. The magnetic field flips every few thousand years, the planets core is very active and we are a few centimeters away from an ice age or volcanic wasteland. The gravity of our planet is on the higher end, any higher and spaceflight will be too difficult to achieve for most species. Finally, we have had multiple extinction level events on this planet is the past few million years.

@@gbgamer9474 I will be carefull; some of their toxic wasted can be a nice mix in a cocktail. A Beteigeuze Libre...Wolf 1016c Sour...Galactopoliten...VY Canis Majoris Killer. And instead a Gin-Tonic, we will get an Aldebaran chemicals....Tonic. You can mix everything with either Tonic or Cola.

@@EllenCrawford-h1f I assume class 4 due to all the ways our planet can kill us and 3 classes for all the apex predators so class 7 I would think.

Alcohol makes sense because you can make alcohol from all sorts of things. Peppers and cocoa, on the other hand, seem highly unlikely to exist anywhere else.

I wonder iv that video was just environmental hazards or was there a flora/fauna section? Australia, alone, would probably have bumped it up to Class 2, the oceans, diseases, tosid plants, and nasty critters on all the other continents would have pushed the classification into Class 4.

that was entertaining, but as a over of worldbuilding and lore, i can't help but feel that these aliens are purposely written as stupid. of course humans - or any other alien for that matter - would have different biologies and biochemistry than them. as funny as this was,i can't help but feel like i'm being looked down upon, like i wouldn't see how unlikely the reactions would realistically be just for some meaningless praise for human's supposed superiority. i mean, i can accept humans being completely fine with things that could poison other species, but making it sound like aliens wouldn't be aware of the possible biological differences feels condescending. like those tropes about propaganda how a nation military was unstoppable but was actually really really weak.
