If you'd like to learn more about my new class Mixed Media Collage and the Intuitive Landscape, you can find info here:
www.marabethquinart.com/intui...
Using a piece of mixed media paper, I divide it into 6 small squares. I’m using a very limited palette of Flame Orange acrylic ink, a turquoise blue acrylic paint and some black and white acrylic paint for mixing. The objective is to paint quickly, not thinking or planning, and enjoying the process. I chose seascape colors so that I could be less representational, leaving building forms to the imagination of the onlooker. Additional materials were collage papers and pastel.
Have you tried painting in multiples like this? I’d love to hear about it so leave me a comment below and tell me how you like it, and how it has helped you grow as a painter.
