i thought the Olympics was every 4 years! shows how much i pay attention to these things!

You were right, it's 4 years, not 3.

We have to find a way to encourage more positional expertise. It was an awesome Wrestling Olympics. 🙏

I am sorry but there is something seriously off with our wrestling program when we got one of the oldest team going into the Olympics, and we have a pool of 200,000 candidates to choose from while the Japanese high school program is only able to produce a tiny pool of 10,000 active wrestlers to choose from and they somehow they dominate the Olympics, there's a time to be charitable and a time to face up to reality.

Right on, the US wrestlers have the gas tank just need to be more aggressive and push the action.

I feel like most of the usa wrestlers wrestled waaaay to reserved which cost them way too many matches while on the contrary the japanese wrestlers let it fly. it was super disappointing to watch our wrestlers not wrestle like they did at the trials and just kinda sit back.

Our wrestlers are too schooled at mat wrestling and less in Freestyle wrestling. We need to adjust our programs to the rest of world. We basically have very little Greco Roman training. Let’s get with the majority if we want to dominate in the world.

We need to adapt our youth wrestling program to whatever Japan is doing.

All we need to do is only wrestle freestyle. No more folkstyle

US freestyle team was a bit disappointing this Olympics, I thought they would win 3 gold and a couple more. But things don't always work out.

Russian free style wrestling or you can simple say Republik of Dagistan are the best athletes without a shadow of doubt . look at this names :74kg Zhamalov 86kg magomed ramazanov and 97kg akhmed tazhudinov. Dagistan wrestlers are the best in the world. but fairly Japanese are coming strongly.
@cbeary20003 ай бұрын
I'm not in disagreeance, but they get popped often for PED's (even the one's in MMA). Most wrestlers globally have stated that they feel the Russian wrestling team is not clean. However i do feel Japan is clean, and that their style and technique is beyond impressive.

stingy salty excuse. You are not a man enough to accept that a small country like Dagistan is better than the USA . Americans are the CEO of peds.

Maybe he got confused because the last one was 3 years ago as it got postponed 1 year.

Hey, I don't even know your name; because you didn't tell us. But if your going to do a recap, could you please tell us how the USA wrestlers did per match? I still don't know what happened to Zain Rutherford as no one will say...
