Hi, thanks for the quick and easy video.Can I do this process on natural dark brown hair? How long should I leave the bleach in for and what toner would you suggest considering I want to avoid any red/ copper or orange tones? Thank you x
@LexiDawnMcc6 жыл бұрын
+sashiez1 you can totally do this on darker brown hair. Just watch the bleach and don’t lift it to over process it. Then depending on what tone it’s at use a owner with an opposite color (red and green, orange and blue)
@alliarella84746 жыл бұрын

Hey darling , how you doing ? Can you show us what kind of products or toners do you use. @susannefengler52285 жыл бұрын
Hi Lexi. I'm new to this style. Please explain why you teased the hair first. ....and no gloves with this chemical? Thanks for the inspiration. I am going to give this a try.
@LexiDawnMcc5 жыл бұрын
teasing gives you incredible blend from root to ends. i did use gloves because i wasn't actually touching the bleach with my hands
@thehopechase6 жыл бұрын
How on earth do u get those teasing knots out tho?!?! I’ve seen videos on this technique a lot but NOBODY addresses the knot issue with the teasing...??? Esp on textured hair..?!?!
@LexiDawnMcc6 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't tease if my client had textured hair I only tease if I know it will brush out easily. What I do is i rinse all the lightener out and get the tease wet. Then I put the step 2 for the redken ph bonder on all over. Then I take a wet brush and section by section I slowly brush out the tease. It usually takes only about 10min to get it all out.

It separates the hair more so it blends easier. Makes it less likely for you to end up with a blunt line where the colors transition.

how do you decide when you're going to tease the base and when not to?
@LexiDawnMcc7 жыл бұрын
+Jennifer Jahns good question. Usually when I tease I don't want to have the lightener go too high up on the head. When I paint I usually want the lightener to go all the way up or close to the top of the head.
