I love the little extras that you added to this video! The sound effect, put a smile on my face! 😁

Thanks, as always. I really appreciate how accessible and 'doable' these projects are. I also appreciate that they can be used both indoors and out. Kudos 👏

I love it! I'm in the middle of buying a house, so I'm still deciding on what our theme will be this year. Love this idea though- so much cheaper than the sand mold and glue stick finials I've made before.

I just bought a bunch of those finials from eBay...I wish I would have seen this video before I spent the money on them.....yours look way better.....

Great video. I made 24 for my pvc fence, using the diamond design. Found that each being hand-made, rather then bought, gave each a slight difference. I also noticed that the pattern formed a small platform that had a 5mm square space on top, so I added a small foam pumpkin to the top point. The little imperfections from the construction added some instant "aging" to each of the pieces. Saved from buying another set of the plastic ones too; they disappeared somehow before I was able to add them to the fence last year.. Will send you a picture.

If you add a little "tail" to the wide part (make it like an arrowhead) you can insert that into the end of the PVC pipe, and fill it with hot glue for an extra tight fit. I think I might need to make a falling down fence along my stone walls this year. These finials will be the perfect finishing touch!

Perfect timing. I wanted to do these on a cemetery fence this year Those look awesome

Love this. I was afraid you'd leave me behind since I don't have a 3-D printer.

It’s fun to change it up.

Could you also do a video creating it 3d modeling it, and then printing on a 3d printer? I’m sure folks would love that especially if you needed to make several toppers for the fence,

Great idea for someone looking for a low cost solution. Like the paint too! The comment about show lighting is really important to consider. Many props go flat in show lighting, if possible try the finish in simulated show lighting before replicating it a hundred times…;)

Great "I can't believe I didn't think of that" idea! I made about 100 out of pink foam which was a disaster. Too brittle. These would be way tougher.

That’s cool, but I feel, just buy the plastic ones. I could not imagine making over 100 of those for my fence!

Yeah, this is definitely an approach for a feature and not an entire fence.

Yeah. I could’ve left it, but it’s good to show how to fix it if it’s not exactly what you wanted.
